    Pro-Ana

I have four older brothers and was bullied as a kid, and I have a pretty thick skin, so insults and attacks have to be REALLY frickin' bad for me for me to report them. A one-off comment? I'll ignore it. If it continues to the point of harassment, I'll report it.

People who mention "sac shots" and "thick skin" in the same post. Honestly. Ew.
People who encourage or are trying to eat less than bmr. Just not healthy.

See? All those lovely vowels. Sadly, I can't sprechen Sie Deutsch, but I can say it.

Edited to add: That made no sense at all. I need more coffee :embarassed:

You report people for trying to eat below bmr? Because you don't believe it's healthy?

I have never even considered reporting anyone. I am an adult I outgrew "telling on people" when I was 10. There are jerks in the world learn to deal with them.

    Amen!

ETA: since we're talking about this, I want to point out that you really ought to be careful about reporting "personal attacks" on people you don't know. I know of at least one instance where someone was given a strike for bantering with someone on their friend list because a third party who didn't know they were friends reported it. Sometimes friends joke around. /PSA

i think i can top that. didn't one member recently get a strike for the exact same thing, but the other member wasn't only on his friends list, but was in fact his IRL wife?

not just eating, but trying to encourage others to have anorexic behavior (aka pro-ANA) - it's one thing if you're 5'0" or under and eating 1000+ cals, but it's another to be a 20-something who's eating under 800 cals a day and says it's the best diet ever

Under BMR though could be a lot higher than that. Mine is 1390, so if I was eating 1350 would you report me? I believe in eating at your BMR too, but I don't report people who eat less unless they really are promoting something like 500 cals a day.

Oh right I forgot about that. Make that at least 2 instances.

I report nothing...I have far too much reporting to do at work and I don't like to mix business with pleasure. Plus, I've seen a lot, heard a lot, done a lot...there's really not much that I find offensive...except for people starving themselves...I do find that offensive...but still too lazy to report.

I meant people who are eating like HALF their bmr, know what I mean? Like a 5"10 18yr old eating 600 calories. That kind of worrying thing. Don't get uppity.

You can actually block specific members (though I haven't found the need to do so...yet), but I only report people trying to sell me crap, which is prohibited

That is awesome! I can't hate you, because you gave me the means to pronounce it. Not that I can.

    Uppity huh?

Fair enough, I report pro-ana threads. I don't report if someone is just asking, only if they are actively promoting.

Great feature. I only did that once. Unfortunately you still see those instances when someone else quotes their message in their reply.

WOW, just WOW. And this is why I don't have an open diary!

If I reported everyone I thought was doing something I deemed unhealthy, I would spend way too much time on here!

Altho when I responded to someone who appointed himself the Health God on here, with a "get over yourself and quit trying to control everyone else", he reported me!

Guess I should just put up some pics of Giant Cheeseburgers.

As for Pro-Ana threads, I have yet to actually see one on here, so they must be reported and deleted before I get to them.
