Comprehensive list of things you find actually reportable

**Actual insults, or threats to other posters.
That's about it for me, what about you?
These actually two things I would never report. I'm a big boy and insults from strangers on the internet roll right off my scales. And threats from internet strangers don't scare me, but I can understand why someone would report it. The only things I ever report here are when people openly promote Pro Ana type behaviors or something similarly dangerous.
Other than that, I just.....

You can actually block specific members (though I haven't found the need to do so...yet), but I only report people trying to sell me crap, which is prohibited
Great feature. I only did that once. Unfortunately you still see those instances when someone else quotes their message in their reply.
But then you get to play the "ooh which person on ignore said that!" game...0 -
The insults and threats should only be reportable by the person being victimized. You cannot see two people having a conversation and giving each other hard love or a kick in the booty and report one for attacking the other.
They didnt attack you.
Keep your mouth shut unless someone asks for help - which no one should have to do since they can click 'Report' on their own and if necessary - LE GASP - leave the computer and go get in a workout or something.0 -

Ummmmmm. I wouldnt report anything unless it was harmful or illegal. If you dont like it or agree, theres an ignore button as well as a logoff button.0 -

If I am that put off by someone to block them then frankly I don't give a damn who said it. lol!0 -
Racism, homophobia and threats/attacks on others.0

Nothing we are all adults. Getting all butt hurt because some one said ***, ****, ****, ******, ****, ****, ******, ***************, *********, ******, or ****** you really need to get over it.
Agreed0 -
People who encourage or are trying to eat less than bmr. Just not healthy.
You report people for trying to eat below bmr? Because you don't believe it's healthy?
not just eating, but trying to encourage others to have anorexic behavior (aka pro-ANA) - it's one thing if you're 5'0" or under and eating 1000+ cals, but it's another to be a 20-something who's eating under 800 cals a day and says it's the best diet ever
Under BMR though could be a lot higher than that. Mine is 1390, so if I was eating 1350 would you report me? I believe in eating at your BMR too, but I don't report people who eat less unless they really are promoting something like 500 cals a day.
I meant people who are eating like HALF their bmr, know what I mean? Like a 5"10 18yr old eating 600 calories. That kind of worrying thing. Don't get uppity.
Uppity huh?
Fair enough, I report pro-ana threads. I don't report if someone is just asking, only if they are actively promoting.
My original comment was semi-ironic. I have only reported once, out of genuine and personal concern.0 -
Yeah, basically, it's people who are insulting. I can take the heat. I've been dealing with haters all my life. This is no different, but I will warn a bitc_ if she gets out of line. If they won't stop, yes, I will, and have reported people. I've been lucky to not have anyone threaten me.0
-
I've never reported anyone, though I have considered reporting those who are underage. The rest, eh. I just stop reading. I've seen far worse than what goes on here on the forums.0
-
-Spam (anytime a Beachbody or BBV coach/rep ends a post with "contact me for more info!" after plugging a product).
-Supporting unhealthy habits.
-Discussions about religion, politics, and other things that are basically flamebait should be kept to groups.
That being said, I also have a couple things that really don't bother me and I probably should report but I don't.
-When someone posts a legitimate and serious question that ISN'T one of the normal questions that gets asked 57 times a day and people reply back with joke/troll posts.
-Multiple thread posts of the same question in one day (I'm sorry but if there are 3 different threads on the first page all asking the same exact question about 30DS, it needs to be cleaned up a bit. No disciplinary action should be taken, consolidate it into one).0 -
Frankly, the only thing I can think of is threatening behavior...and I've never really seen that here anyway...deal with it little people...go in the corner and cry, whatevs...reporting makes you a <d> pooch IMHO.

WOW, just WOW. And this is why I don't have an open diary!
If I reported everyone I thought was doing something I deemed unhealthy, I would spend way too much time on here!
Altho when I responded to someone who appointed himself the Health God on here, with a "get over yourself and quit trying to control everyone else", he reported me!
Guess I should just put up some pics of Giant Cheeseburgers.
As for Pro-Ana threads, I have yet to actually see one on here, so they must be reported and deleted before I get to them.
Obviously I didn't phrase my comment well. Sorry to all who have been offended. Please don't report me!!0 -
-Direct threats
-Spam
Apart from that, people take others opinions far too personally and get offended so easily... you fat cuz you ate too much girl, fact0 -
NOTHING. If I dont' like it, I prefer direct confrontation. I won't go snitching on people. Public humiliation is a better option.0
-
And if you report somethings 'wrong' opinion or unhealthy habits, then youre clearly a moron0

What happened to sticks and stones?0

Indeed.0 -
Sly comments, people stirring trouble for the sake of it, b*tchy comments, ED threads, negative people who enjoy tearing others down on the forums.
Pretty much this.
Well, I would agree with ONE of these...:grumble:0 -
Nobody likes a tattle tail.....0
-
Huh...I have never reported anyone.
Unless you are telling me you know where I live and you're coming to bludgeon me in my sleep or poison my dogs or something, I just ignore and move on.
That eating of others' exercise calories was pretty good, tho. :bigsmile:0 -
I'm a grown woman so I realise people can disagree with me without getting my knickers in a bunch. If you give strikes, if you are a serial striker prepare to be stricken yourself as far as I'm concerned. If you strike for little or no reason; like if you just don't like someone and you go back through their post history and report everything then you can't very well ***** and moan if you get strikes yourself. Live by the sword, die by the sword. Also, in case you all haven't realised this is just a fcking website, this isn't real life, nobody's died.0

Spam
Pro-ana threads
Underage users
ETA: since we're talking about this, I want to point out that you really ought to be careful about reporting "personal attacks" on people you don't know. I know of at least one instance where someone was given a strike for bantering with someone on their friend list because a third party who didn't know they were friends reported it. Sometimes friends joke around. /PSA0 -

Personally, if you're reporting these things you should probably stay out of the forums and go cry in the corner. I don't always go for the mean posts, but I know how to move on to something else, not just click the report button.0 -

yeah, what she said.0 -
when someone else tries to eat back MY exercise calories.
this! I burned over 1,400 on Monday and only ate back about half so I have some extra to share.
I have never felt compelled to report anyone yet. I think it would have to be something really drastic.
Good luck on your journey!0 -
I guess I take things with a grain of salt on here. *shrug*0

Pro Ana diets. Spam.
Those are the only two things I have ever and will ever report.
The Pro-Ana stuff, as others have mentioned, does always tend to stay up longer, though.0 -

Like posting inside jokes in public places? :blushing:0
