    It has taken 3 years, of slow adjustments to my diet, running when I can (in between work, kids and live) and boxing on a weekly basis. The last year - since I have been here on MFP - has been huge. I've always been active, but never really lean. Being here and tracking what I eat (I'm maintaining now around 1900 cals, but started at 1750), has been INSTRUMENTAL to getting here finally.

    And now I plan on building a home and staying!

    WOW!!!! Hat's off to you . . . not just for working so hard and looking smoking hot, but for actually seeing yourself for who you are!! This is something that so many people have a hard time with after losing various amounts of weight, and it's so nice to see when someone breaks through that barrier. Congrats!! :flowerforyou:

    When I was in school, I was mocked. A lot. For being tall (6'1") fat (I wasn't) stupid (I wasn't) unpopular (I was) and geeky (I was). I was nicknamed sasquatch, and told that noone would ever date me.

    I lived that identity and have fought with it for over twenty years.

    I have never been overweight, maybe at most 20 pounds, but in my HEAD, I saw obese.

    With a few minor changes this could have been taken straight from my bio. I can absolutely relate to how much that takes out of you, and how hard it is to overcome.

    YOU ARE AMAZING. And you look more than beautiful in your new adorable bikini! :love: :drinker:
