    The architect is here to measure for our oversized 2-car garage + 12'x26' shop addition to our 88yr old house that, currently, has a big, ugly carport partially blocking my otherwise unobstructed view of the Puget Sound! Sooooo excited (now to figure out how to pay for it!)

    Ooh, Puget Sound = lovely! I'm thinking it's pretty lame to talk about your cool view and then FAIL to post a pic. :grumble:

    See the ugly carport top? We're going to tear it down, build the garage UNDER the current deck (the top of the garage will BE the new deck). The current deck is directly below where I'm taking the picture (from the second floor balcony).

    Right click the picture & open in a new window....it's only showing half of the image for some reason...
