What is your resting heart rate?

About 75, but Im on a medication that supposedly raises heart rate. I haven't checked my hr directly upon waking which is probably when the medication would be lowest in my system.
My rhr used to be around 100, so it's dropped considerably with exercise0 -

80 *I am 6 months pregnant*
before pregnancy it was 680 -
66 today, on less sleep than usual, a glass of wine and a bit less water intake than normal. I used to be in the high 70s, low 80s before regular exercise0

60 this weekend when I had it checked.0

55 This morning. Usually high 40's but it went up to high 50's as I'm recovering from a major sporting event a few weeks back.
This points out that your resting HR is somewhat variable. It can become elevated for a period of time following intense exercise. It is also an indication that you may be overtraining. It is worth monitoring several times a week to get a feel as to where you should be. If there are significant excursions from "normal" you might consider figuring out why.0 -
Mine's around 42 at the moment. I got comments by the nurses that I must be fit when I was in hospital a few years ago. They had to get special permission to release me from recovery after surgery because it wasn't above 50 and wasn't going to head there ever0

Right now it's 36 bpm.0

Ummmm, that's tachycardia. Not resting. Well, maybe if you are a fetus....
Umm, that is actually my resting heart rate. It has been since I was 10 years old following a virus that infected my heart. I also have a heart murmur, and no, I am not a fetus. When I exercise it peaks at about 189.0 -

48 but it drops to 36 when i'm literally resting.. (as in lying in bed)
Also.. I can get my rate up when working out hard.. but as soon as I stop.. I mean right away it drops way down again..
My mom has bradycardia too since her 30s.. and she's obese.. about the same bpm as I do.0 -

I am not sure if I have been tested for that. I went through a lot of tests about 2 years ago, monitored heart while sleeping/ekg, etc. and the end result was there was nothing of concern. I do monitor it at home and go for check ups every 6 months. I will ask my doctor about it though - thank you.0 -
mine is normally around 55 these days. Used to be 40-41 always, and I hope to get it back to there here soon .....0
