Will you eat an chocolate easter egg?

Nah. My one Easter Candy passion was/is the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Egg that I'd get once a year. Since going vegan a few years back that's no longer an option and I haven't found a fools-me substitute yet.
I do, however, still have a vegan chocolate Han Solo in Carbonite bar that I haven't opened that Chael got me for Christmas. Maybe I'll have a small piece of that.0 -
no will not be having any manufactured chocolate, but i am going to make some really delicious low carb coconut flavoured chocolate.. just as good and guilt free
You manufacture it. Using a process.0 -
I broke down and ate a 1 1/2 oz dark chocolate egg, and I can't tell you how good it was!:drinker: :blushing: :devil:0

I'm goin to eat everything, but in moderation. I'll eat the big Easter dinner and all the candies, but I'll be eating decent portions of the dinner and I'll be eating the candies over a good span of time, not all at once. A couple of candies a day will be fine I'll definitely be tracking though to make sure I don't go crazy.0

This baby has my name on it this weekend:
I so want one of these. Salted caramel has become my best friend!0 -
Oh yes! I bought my malteaser easter bunny egg weeks ago and I can't wait,0
-
I eat chocolate all the time. Will likely eat a bit more than usual with the kids tomorrow0
-
I have already, and I'll most likely continue to do so. ^-^
That being said, I'm also making sure I get all my important proteins and everything first, and I am portioning out the sizes, but hey - the only way to prevent yourself from going crazy is by treating yourself! I notice for myself if I try to deprive myself of wonderful seasonal treats, I'll just binge on less delicious sweets later to "make up for it" :P0 -
I don't celebrate Easter, but had some Ghirardelli 86% with a tbsp of PB this morning. So good. :drinker:0
-
YES!! I bought some in the US several weeks ago and have them just WAITING for it to be Easter!!0
-
I have bought myself a Rocher rabbit...because no one will be buying me any eggs.0

Well since i am the cook and all-yep-and Easter dinner too !!!! But it will be dark chocolate and maybe a peanut butter n chocolate egg and I am having a chocolate covered marshmellow bunny with my coffee.0

Heck yes!0

I eat chocolate on a daily basis, so yes. XD But since my next Hell-With-It Day is set for April 1st, I'll probably indulge on Easter and just make the next 10-day stretch an 11-day so I can enjoy all the yummy stuff my hubs is making.0

I took an itty, bitty nibble from my grandson's Reese's peanut butter egg. I won't eat a chocolate egg....I'd rather have a small piece of the carrot cake my daughter is bringing tomorrow!!!0
-
I already have. I might have to nip some of my meals down to accommodate the calories but I do it. I also exercise like a fiend these days so I can burn them off. So I allow myself a lil once a day. Just to keep my sanity. lol.0

There is this cafe at the mall where I live that serves salted caramel gelato... OMG! It is an amazing flavor. I run the mall to burn them calories before I consume just one scoop of it.0 -
I just had sugar free candy...0

temptation for you all.................
This actually made me not want one. I had a creme egg a couple years ago after not having one since I was a kid and I thought I was going to be sick. I hated it.
Likely not eating any but if I do I will have no guilt. Been to the gym 3x this weekend and done the 30 day shred 3x I have earned it. I will log whatever I eat and enjoy!0 -
I had one small Russel Stover sugar free chocolate egg and that's it for this year.0
-
I ate a whole solid milk chocolate rabbit already
Then I ran a 5k to make up for it.0 -
I'm actually drooling at the thought of tucking into my Easter Egg.. my hubby went and got it a month ago.. drove miles to get my favourite.. I'm ridiculously excited about it truth be told.
Not mad on Cadbury's creme eggs anymore, they hurt my teeth :grumble:0 -
Nope. I don't care for chocolate (neither does my tummy) and I find Easter goodies too sweet for my taste.0
-
Nope- ill choose a few hard boiled dyed Easter eggs instead. .0
-
nope, bought just enough for my daughter and that's it.0

Slight indulgence! The best way to maintain health all the time is to treat yourself sometimes! I can have serious issues if I don't let myself have some kind of treat every now and then (like...don't eat any sugar for weeks and then eat several pints of ice cream type serious issues). So, instead of not having anything for Easter and then in a week eating several bags...I'll have a few pieces and then it's all good
Plus, I've noticed if I have really good, dark chocolate I only need a few pieces to feel like I've had a great treat. The richer and yummier the treat the less I can make myself have :-)
great question!0 -
I will be substituting a hard boiled egg for my Cadbury creme eggs this year.
If someone suggested I substitute a hard boiled egg instead of a chocolate egg, I'd be like "bish please, ain't happening."
This ????0 -
I will probably eat 1 or 2 Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs. They are 90 calories so as long as I stick to eating only a few, I should be okay.
I even tested myself this week to see if it's possible for me to stop at just 1 or 2. I bought some Double Stuff Oreos (my all time favorite junk food) and have been able to limit myself to 2 cookies every so often compared to half a package in one sitting. So I think I've gotten my self control down and should be able to handle a few pieces without going overboard.0
