You'll just have to deal with that.. or you can expand your horizons, join new groups or find your support elsewhere.
Gee thanks.

Whoah! You've got some very nice responses here and proper advice and you are throwing it back in people's faces. Maybe your attitude comes over in the groups you are in too and that is why you are not getting much response? Just a thought.
You call saying 'youll just have to deal with that.' a nice response and proper advice?0 -

What about the rest of that post? Just choosing to ignore it?
Here it is again, in case you missed it...or you can expand your horizons, join new groups or find your support elsewhere.
You're not really making friends here with your attitude..0 -

tone is hard to relay online. the same sentence can be interpreted many different ways, so that's why emoticons were invented. so that people could see the tone behind a remark. i think this is a case where the remark was not intended to be hostile, but you didn't know that and interpreted it as hostile. it's a misunderstanding of tone and intent.0 -

Just here to say, Lea, I love your new pic :flowerforyou: ...and happy birthday!0 -

You are taking that out of context! The responses were all along the lines of find other groups, find friends you have things in common with and deal with the lack of activity in the groups you have chosen that way.
I can't for the life of me figure out why that has upset you.0 -

And the minute you spent kindly replying is a minute of your life you will now never get back0 -

what do you want us to do? spank everyone in your groups that are unresponsive and tell them that their unresponsiveness is hurting your feelings?
We ARE being nice...we're telling you that if the groups you belong to aren't owning up to their promise that you felt they had when you joined, then look for new groups...
other than that we got nothing....
we can't make your groups magically responsive just because you are upset....
that's all....
really...it IS the nice answer.

Well ....for all of you that dont like me , you really dont have to. And in all honestly, i probably dont like you either. So either ignore the post or thread or ignore me.
I have lots of support on here from like-minded friends and frankly i dont need your approval. I was looking for SUPPORT and suggestions to other groups that may be more active, which i have received in PM from several posters who didnt want to post on the board.
Hows THAT for attitude0 -

Can someone point me in the right direction, please?0 -

There's a spanking group? Why am I the last to know? Invites please!0 -
I think part of the problem is with MFP. The groups and forums would probably perform better if members were notified of responses in threads they had posted in.0

But you're such a ray of sunshine. I couldn't possibly ignore you now. :flowerforyou:0 -
This is the least exciting sex thing I've been in in quite some time.
Good luck with your assault on unresponsiveness OP. YOU CAN DO IT!0 -
the Run, Walk, Crawl group is active!!! :glasses:0

I found that quite odd myself, not in the groups/forums but when people were responding to my comments on their profile...i had to keep going back to check0 -

Hmmmmm. I just click on My Topics regularly to see what updates have happened. The group I'm most active in would fill up my inbox in 10 mins if I got a notification every time as it gets rather busy.
The thing I've found is that the general social groups get the most traffic. Doesn't matter what you are eating, what exercise you are doing, whether you have 10 kids or no kids etc, they just attract more people. With more specialist groups (for example a hiking group) I am not going to go on every day to discuss which mountain I'm planning on climbing next. With those I'm more like to drop in once a week to touch base.0 -

Well you're not trying hard enough then! You can't just lie back and think of England/[insert your country of choice here] and expect your partners to do all the work0 -
People respond when something interesting is said or they think they have the answer you seek.0
