Unresponsive groups

Well ....for all of you that dont like me , you really dont have to. And in all honestly, i probably dont like you either. So either ignore the post or thread or ignore me.

I have lots of support on here from like-minded friends and frankly i dont need your approval. I was looking for SUPPORT and suggestions to other groups that may be more active, which i have received in PM from several posters who didnt want to post on the board.

Hows THAT for attitude

I think part of the problem is with MFP. The groups and forums would probably perform better if members were notified of responses in threads they had posted in.

I found that quite odd myself, not in the groups/forums but when people were responding to my comments on their profile...i had to keep going back to check

Hmmmmm. I just click on My Topics regularly to see what updates have happened. The group I'm most active in would fill up my inbox in 10 mins if I got a notification every time as it gets rather busy.

The thing I've found is that the general social groups get the most traffic. Doesn't matter what you are eating, what exercise you are doing, whether you have 10 kids or no kids etc, they just attract more people. With more specialist groups (for example a hiking group) I am not going to go on every day to discuss which mountain I'm planning on climbing next. With those I'm more like to drop in once a week to touch base.

Whoah! You've got some very nice responses here and proper advice and you are throwing it back in people's faces. Maybe your attitude comes over in the groups you are in too and that is why you are not getting much response? Just a thought.

Some people can't handle my brutal honesty.. I was being nice about it too..
