I'm need of inspiration! I'm 4'10 and currently tipping the scale at 180. I would love to see any other shorties out there who have comparison pics of their weight loss journey. Please and thank you. :flowerforyou:

Hi! I'm 5ft even. My SW was 174 and although I just started 3 weeks ago, I've already lost 8 pounds. I would love to have more friends! Let's motivate each other!

I'm 5'0" and started at 200+ lb (I stopped weighing myself the day scale hit 200). I started at a *tight* 16W. I'm guessing my body fat was in the 50% range. I initially lost 50 lb with MFP but got off track this winter. I'm currently 167 lb, 33% body fat, and a (getting looser) size 14. My goal weight is 140 lb with a healthy BF%.

    Feel free to add me.

ETA: Oh, and I'm 47 years old.

    Hi everyone..
. I'm vertically challenged too @ 5 ft with BIG hair!!! Haaaa... Hubby teases me as he says I'm really 4" 10' 1/2 but I'm sticking to 5 ft... Teehee... I have lost 24-27 Ibs total since the end of X-mas this year when I was really sick with the flu and a very bad case of bronchitis. I started logging on here and working out (Just Dance) for 3- 2 hrs daily except Sundays, 60 days ago.. i also started doing Callanetics as strength training 3x/week using my own body weight to do push ups, crutches, leg lifts, squats, hip rotations etc... I dance/workout at home....

I've been logging on here I believe 57 days and have lost 14 Ibs since Feb 17th... I am almost 41 yrs old, married to the love of my life and have two beautiful children, a daughter (6) and a son, (4)... I'm looking to lose around 88-100 lbs... I started out about 209-212 approximately last summer...I'm not exactly sure as I HATE scales and mine is an inaccurate piece of crap!!! Ugh... But, again, 60 days ago, I weighed 197 and now I am down to 183 NOT counting/including the 10+Ibs I lost while I was sick in Dec as I previously mentioned... AKA - my ticker says 14 Ibs lost, not to confuse anyone... I am looking for friends that want to be held accountable and be supportive of me and others during and after our individual weight loss journeys... Feel free to friend request me...

Ps -there are some CLOTHED pics of my progress thus far as I'm way too SHY to be posting 1/2 naked pics of me in my unders and bra for the whole wide web to see... :noway: :embarassed: However, they are private, so feel free to friend request me... Thanks!!!

Good luck to us all -

    Carmon (Crazy C)

4'10" and just starting up again. My CW is about 174 (I need to weigh in) and I really have no idea what my goal weight is anymore. I really really would like inspirational friends... especially other shorties. I feel like this task is so huge right now... 40-50 pounds... I work very hard and then when i don't see results, I quit too soon.

    Add me :)

How did you get rid of the stretch marks? Did they naturally go away?

Hi Jody. I'm also 5 feet even, and I've just left 200 pounds, hopefully forever. There was a time when I weighed 296! I am looking to take off 40 pounds this year, which will put me in the 160 range. Once that's done, I'll see what is reasonable. I'm 58.

I'm 5 feet and three quarters of an inch but might be shrinking! I'm losing weight very very slowly but steadily so I'm not worried. I was a tight UK size 16 (sometimes 18) but bought some new trousers last week and had to buy a 14 so I think I've lost inches rather than pounds so far. That's encouraging.
I'm 157 pounds at the moment and would like to get down to around 126 pounds then see what that feels like. Years ago when I was in my late teens I weighed normally around 105 pounds but I rather doubt I can get back to that.
Being little I've found means we need considerably smaller portions. I've never been a big eater and my diet is healthy but I think eating normal height portions was my downfall.
I am experimenting with the 14/10 eating idea where women fast each day for 14 hours.. In effect this means eating my last meal of the day around 6pm then trying not to eat again until 8am breakfast. Just eating my evening meal earlier seems to have kickstarted my weight loss again. My late husband always preferred to eat dinner at 8pm or later and that was a habit I'd got into but earlier seems to be better for me. Being my husband's carer meant I wasn't getting enough exercise but I am now trying to get out and walk every day.
  • Another 4'10-er here!
    Hey midgets <3

I was 154 at my biggest
I really didn't think I would ever bother to lose the weight and to b honest I really don't know how I did it.. how i got the motivation and how i stuck to it. I guess once i saw the weight coming off it became like an addiction to keep going and not getting put off just bcause i may have gained a pound one week

i gave myself a year to lose two stone, i did it in about 10 months, which is a long time for 2st but i wanted to take my time so I didn't gain it all again too quickly

You just need to the movitvation. Mine came when I had tonsilitus and couldn't eat and lost a couple of pound.. i decided to just keep going aha

I'm at my highest weight in 5 years at 127. Only 5'0. However, I know that a lot of it is muscle because the last time I was around 130 I definitely did not look like this. Working on cutting at the moment while still keeping my lean muscle mass.

My starting weight was 228 lbs
    Current weight is 152 lbs.

I don't have any progress pics yet. I'm waiting until I get closer to goal. I do feel much better now though. It's amazing what a difference the weight loss has made in my energy, and in my comfort level being in my own skin.
