Calling all the FUN-SIZED people! 5ft and under

Is it incredibly difficult for everyone to lose even just 1-2 pounds when you're "fun-sized"?
My taller friends seem to be able to drop 10-20pounds, while I struggle with my last 5-10pounds. Constant 5-10pounds.
Yes! This why everyone here can relate. 10 lbs for us compared to the rest of the world is a major struggle to lose and a major feat when accomplished.0 -
I hope this works.. I'm 5ft.. Here i am in the photo on the right. On the left i was 15 pounds (or 7kgs) heavier..I really didn't think i had that much back fat! Hmm the whole picture isn't showing?

Not quite 4'11...
HW - 225
CW - 194
GW - ?? not sure...whenever i feel good in my skin
I lost 50+ pounds a few years back by eating about 1500 calories a day and exercising waaaaay too much. I wasn't tracking calories then but I'm sure I was NETTING negative most days.
I finally got thyroid regulated, did a metabolism reset and the scale has been dropping again - finally!!!0 -
I a 4'10 and about 135. Want to get back to 120. I am 44 and its getting harder and harder and harder!!! Grrr.
There are some pics of me in my profile. Feel free to add me!0 -
I'm 4'10" and currently 100lbs, aiming for 89lbs but these binges are really taking over:/0

Haha..."fun sized" here too....I am 48 y.o. and 4' 11" HW=160# CW= 124# GW= 119#, for now....need to set small goals, I seem to achieve those better. Sorry, I have no pictures, but would love more encouragement, so feel free to add me!! And yes, the older one gets...the harder it is for the weight to come off, but that means you just have to try harder and move more...I have a fitbit one and it seems to be working, it keeps me moving and honest in my workouts0

how much do you weigh now? how much do you want to lose?
for me, I don't want to "diet" anymore, meaning, I don't want to reduce my calories for some time and then to increase it back to "normal" afterwards and then gain the weight back.
so at 4'11" also, CW = 118 and , I eat ~1800 calories. What I do is lift heavy weight so I have a lot of muscles to help burn all the calories. I can't go through life eating under 1500, so I went the other way: I created more muscles.
My goal is reduce my body fat so I have more muscles and look good.
I used to do 1200calories or less and tons of cardio and never really saw much results. I've been doing this since March 2013 and I'm liking the results.
Try lifting some weights. Good for you.

I'm 35 years old and 5'2. As of today I am 181 pounds :frown: and am trying to get down to 140. I don't want to be thin, but I don't want to be as heavy as I am. This is the heaviest I've ever been, including both times I've been pregnant. I'm new here and don't have any friends so please add me0

Hi, I am 5ft1, max weight was 237(may 2012), now im currently 1180

I know I'm not 5 feet but I only missed the cut by an inch! I'm 5 foot 1 and before I had my son i was about 117 pounds. I ate so much when I was pregnant and my end pregnancy weight was nearly 200 pounds. I was in a size 12/14 when before I was in a 0-2. After a few week of having him i was stuck at the scale at 170 pounds. My son is going to be 2 in a couple of weeks and I am finally back down to my pre-pregancy weight and size! Im not going to lie it was tough but all i did was exercise at least 6 days a week for about 2 hours getting a balance of cardio weights and ab exercises. I also have been a vegetarian for 9 months and try to eat as less carbs and fatty foods as possible. I never ate healthy before and the first few weeks sucked but after you get through the first couple weeks of eating veggies and such your taste buds change and start to like it! If you stick to a healthy diet and exercise the weight should shed off in no time! Also DO NOT STRESS about this i found that when i was stressing about my weight it wasn't coming off, then when reality set in that I wasn't just gonna get back to my pre weight without taking action. Just be comfortable with who you are ladies everyone is beautiful and as you progress with your weight loss you won't do anything but get more beautiful!!!!0
