That if you put a cookie in your yogurt the calories will leak out :) Actually that's my own myth. How about...raw milk is "healthier" than pasteurized milk because of the "enzymes"?

Coffee, tea, fizzy drinks aren't water and can not be counted as water.

What ? Isn't this true? I have read this before and been told this by so many people, I honestly thought it was true. I heard for every coffee, tea, fizzy drink you should have 2 cups of water to balance it out.

Drinking too much water can, in rare cases, lead to dilutional hyponatremia, which can be fatal.

'You can eat as much rice and curry and you wont gain weight. Its once you start eating bread, cakes and potatoes that you put on weight'.

Having come from a South Asian background where rice is eaten everyday, sometimes 3 times a day, I used to hear this quite a lot. lol

Almost all above. It seems like when people start with any kind of diet they loose their senses and step into the realms of fantasy...

BBqing your food all the time will give you cancer.

This as a blanket statement isn't true, but charred food contains carcinogens which have been linked to cancer.

Yeah, PAHs, same stuff that burning and/or smoke dried tobacco has that leads to cancers.

Not really a food myth but..
You can't have a cookie because you're on a "diet".

Eating any amount of food will get you to a healthy weight IF it is the CORRECT types of food. i.e. clean or healthy or organic, etc.
