Usually only three time a day, typical breakfast, lunch and dinner. Occasionally, not often, I have an afternoon snack.

3-6, usually 3-4. I do just fine on three meals/day, but I sometimes have snacks if I realize I didn't eat enough at my previous meal or will have a piece of fruit from my next meal a little early.

    I usually eat 2-3 times a day
"lunch" (300-500 cals) at 4pm and then dinner (500-1000 cals) at 7pm

sometimes (rarely) I have a small bf / afternoon snack, like a peach/slice of bread or something.

I eat something every 2 to 3 hours between 7 am and 7 pm. I have 4 meals (Breakfast, super-sized salad for lunch, afternoon smoothie, dinner) and 1 or 2 very light snacks.

Meal/nutrient timing is irrelevant. Eat when it works for you.

I pretty much eat all day long. Like constantly. Most of my meals are smaller because I like to snack. It works for me.

I have other friends who prefer IF or like to eat a more structured meal plan.

Do what feels right for you.

I'm one of her IFing friends. I usually eat a large lunch and an even bigger dinner. Throw in a snack or two if I'm hungry. I have NO trouble eating 2,200 calories in my 8 hour window. I used to eat 6x per day and much prefer IFing. Do what works for YOU. And don't put eating rules on yourself. Today, I didn't eat until 12:30. But if I'm hungry (real hunger....not from boredom or emotional reason), then I'll eat whenever that is, regardless of time.

Usually 2 heavy calorie meals a day. Anything else is just a snack to meet minimum intake on macros. More of IF/LeanGains style
