My dad always made me anchovie paste on toast which was delicious. I think my favorite sandwich is tuna on rye bread with some very thinly sliced, very sharp cheddar. I ate it nearly everyday as a senior in high school and craved it to the point that I would actually start salivating the moment I saw it.

This thread is giving me ideas of interesting foods to try!

I like black pudding (blood sausage) with marmalade. The flavours go together beautifully.

I was lactose intolerant as a kid and hated soy (goats, rice, almond etc milk were not widely available) so I got used to eating my fruit and grain cereal with orange juice. I rarely eat cereal now but I sometimes get a hankering for Just Right and oj.

Otherwise, I like Vegemite, lettuce and mayo sandwiches, and I put chopped dill pickle in my scrambled eggs.

Chunky peanut butter on a bacon cheeseburger. I know, I know, but try it. I had this at a restaurant in San Diego years ago, and they offered it up with a guarantee that if you didn't like it, you didn't have to pay for it. I was game, and you know what? It was GOOD.

a few of my favorites would have to be mud-bugs. cant get enough of them.. they dont exactly smell like heaven but they sure taste it.
    fried gator tail, buffalo.. mmm.

what are some foods you like that others dont and/or refuse to eat?

You say mud-bugs like anyone knows what that is.

I adore Irish and Polish blood sausage. I also love hackpeter, which is a raw ground filet mixed with onions and seasoning and a raw egg on top that you mix in as you eat it.

Anything baked or roasted should have mustard on it: baked ham, meatloaf, beef roast

As a kid, I ate banana and mayo sandwiches with my mom.
