I agree with the other poster - try to incorporate strength training if you can. I only did cardio and not strength training that first 45 days of being on MFP because I had a hectic schedule but I wish had done both now.

This- AND, the cool benefit of strength training is the confidence you build as you get stronger. Even though the weight may come off slow, feeling your body change and grow stronger is an awesome motivator :)

Reminds me of after losing about 15lbs, a lady that I barely know asked what size clothes I wore and offered to give me clothes she couldn't wear anymore because they are too BIG...and she weighs about 40 lbs more than me. I was like wtf? xD I lose weight and someone thinks I can fit into their size 26 clothes.

Don't even let what other's say determine how you feel about yourself!

Based on the swarming of support (I'm on your side too), I can't help but point out a humorous solution.

    1. Invite your boyfriend and boss out to dinner.

    2. Invite all of us too ... and we'll set 'em straight!!

Don't change, don't stop, don't get upset - let them keep their negativity. Just get healthier and have a good memory. ;)
