The first day you start with 50, then 55, then 60 and so on. You can do them however you like as I know I could never do 50 all at once. Yes it is the one that is floating around facebook.

Seems I can't paste it here so I will just write it out:

    Day 1 50 squats
    Day 2 55 squats
    Day 3 60 squats
    Day 4 Rest
    Day 5 70 squats
    Day 6 75 squats
    Day 7 80 squats
    Day 8 Rest
    Day 9 100 squats
    Day 10 105 squats
    Day 11 110 squats
    Day 12 Rest
    Day 13 130 squats
    Day 14 135 squats
    Day 15 140 squats
    Day 16 Rest
    Day 17 150 squats
    Day 18 155 squats
    Day 19 160 squats
    Day 20 Rest
    Day 21 180 squats
    Day 22 185 squats
    Day 23 190 squats
    Day 24 Rest
    Day 25 220 squats
    Day 26 225 squats
    Day 27 230 squats
    Day 28 Rest
    Day 29 240 squats
    Day 30 250 squats

And that is all there is to it

    I'm starting - but today.

And I'm coming up with a few butt/thigh alternatives if my knees start to cry. Someone said Plies are good too.

Sounds great, I am up for it! Sounds like sooooo many squats a day to do, I wonder how many can actually do it. I have a sit down job and have not been very active, so I will try my best!

Not really sure how to form a group but I will start a 'topic' each day if that is ok. That way we can all check in at different times of the day.

Not sure what you mean? I am not going to use weights as it will be tough enough for me to do them as it is.

You can do them how you want. I split them into sets. I did 5 sets of however many made it come out to the proper amount for the day, with maybe a 30 second break between sets. I found making set 2 and 4 a different kind of squat (sumo) I was able to do them all.

If your knees are hurting, you may be over extending.
Try doing them with your legs spread far apart as well - works the inner thigh and glutes (sp) and is not as much strain on your quads for some reason. I think it's called sumo squats.
Doing those with a jump inbetween is a good extra calorie burn.
