How much sleep do you get?

Actually, too much sleep can as unhealthy as too little.
I usually get 5-6 hours on a work night, 8-9 on a weekend (day off).0 -
8-9 every night (I have a medical condition that requires a lot of sleep and rest).
In college I used to be able to pull all nighters.... now I'm lucky if I can stay awake the 16 I'm suppose to, but it's getting better with diet and exercise!0 -
FOURTEEN HOURS OF SLEEP?
That only leaves you 10 hours in your day!
You're assuming OP sleeps for 14 hours then stays up for 10. They could sleep for 14 hours then stay up for 20. No one really truly follows the 24 hours in a day thing, do they? I sure don't always.
I have no idea how much sleep I get. I am in bed for a good 10 hours sometimes (probably closer to 9 on average) but I probably only truly sleep for 4. I want to get one of those FitBit's just to test my sleep. I've always been a bad sleeper.0 -
I go for 8. That generally doesn't happen and I consider myself lucky to get 6.
I've got chronic fatigue syndrome and one of the symptoms is non-restorative sleep. It's not uncommon to wake up every bit as tired as when I went to bed.0 -
I like about 9 if I can get it, but usually it's about 8.0
-
school days - 6, weekends about 8.0

Between 6-8 hours everyday. Unfortunately, it's not uninterrupted sleep. I find myself tossing and turning ALL.NITE.LONG.
If we are talking QUALITY of sleep, it's more like 2-3 hours.0 -
I'll be in bed for 9 hours or so but only get 5-6 hours of sleep. Takes me a long time to fall asleep, and I'm constantly waking up throughout the night. Sleep disorders ...0

What's sleep?0

4/5 if lucky.0

4 when I work. 8 or so when I am on a normal schedule. I usually go 24 hours when I work without sleep sleep for four hours then work 8 hours. And that continues til a day off.0
-
Solidly? Not much. I don't have time for a proper single sleep, so I have to nap a few times every day. I guess I get 6 hours total, maybe more at weekends.0
-
4-5 I have a lot on my plate.0
-
4-6 hours. But I never sleep straight through, always waking up in the night.
Usually I go to sleep about 2am and have to be up at 6/7am.
Though sometimes on Saturdays I don't get up til 10am so have about 9 hours (if I have nothing to do that day.)0 -
Between 7 and 100

Not enough. I should get about 8hrs, but I probably get about 4-6 hrs Mon-Fri. I do get 8-10 hrs on the wknds. I worry/think way too much. Plus, sometimes I don't force myself to stay up in the evenings causing me to have trouble sleeping at nights.0
-
usually 5-6 on the days when i work, 9-10 on off days. But if go go to bed early enough, 8 hours are usually enough.0

6 to 7 during the week. Less on the weekends, because I try to stay up later, but I still wake up at 3am no matter when I go to bed.0
-
Less then 6 hrs during the week and maybe if my internal alarm doesn't wake me up 6.5 on the weekends. Coffee is my friend. My best friend.0

What you said Jess! I'd go to bed about 10 and wake up 3-4 times for anywhere from 20 minutes to 3 hours at a time. Then my alarm would go off at 5:30. I had be be put on sedatives (as i also had injuries that weren't healing as a consequence) and now I get 5 1/2 hours continuous sleep. By the weekend, I'm destroyed and (w/sedatives) can get up to 10 hours.
Not the best!0 -
generally need 8. usually get 6. catch up on weekends.
now that summer's around the corner and there's more light i will need less sleep. 5-6 might do for a while.0 -

That's a big thing for me, too! I heal sooo slowly because of my horrible sleeping. Going to go pick up my refill for my sleeping meds today, haha. (I take muscle relaxers to sleep)0 -
4.5-5 hours0

Usually between 7-8 however I do wake up a few times it's rare that I'll sleep a full night.
If I do not get enough sleep during the week I can feel it and on weekends I can go 10-12hrs straight to recoup!
It's gotten better over the years but I also tend to think a lot....I use to wake up in the middle of the night fully awake thinking of a problem at work that I was resolving in my sleep! Trying to fall back asleep after that was torture thankfully this seems to only happen a couple times a year now.0 -

7 Hours. Go to bed at 10, wake up at 5 and hit the gym.0
-
Damn, I wish I was this disciplined... I go to bed between 12:00 and 1:00 Am and wake up between 5:00 and 6:00. Get to work at around 7:00 and hit the gym afterwards at around 50

I have a 4 year old so sleep on her schedule. If she is healthy, then I get a good night's rest (usually 6-8 hours). If not, then 3-4 up and down all night.0
-
6-7 during the week. I try to get to bed by 10pm so it depends whether I work out with my trainer in the AM or not.
Weekends I try to get a solid eight but that requires filling the kids with pizza and movies on Friday nights so they will let me sleep until 7:30am!
We have another baby on the way in a few weeks so forget everything I said starting next month.0
