Exercise equipment from Walmart

I got an 8-pound kettlebell with workout DVD from Wal-Mart that I really liked when I was still working out with kettlebells (I started using barbells before I really got into kettlebells, but they're highly efficient and very fun).
Also, you can never go wrong with a yoga mat and a couple beginner DVDs.
I have a Swiss ball, but I only really use it to stretch my back. It's quite awesome for that. Can't comment on other things to use it for.
OR -- get a standard barbell with plates (I think they have a set of that at Wal-Mart made by Gold's Gym for like $40) and buy New Rules of Lifting for Women and get your muscle goddess groove on. :flowerforyou:0 -
I need to check out the New Rules of Lifting for Women. I have heard a lot about that.
I bought a Golds Gym 40 lbs dumbbell/barbell thing with plates and a Yoga mat. Both Aak picked out for me :flowerforyou:
I also got a 10 lbs kettlebell since I only have a 4 lbs now. And whey protein powder.
I have way too many DVDs already saved online.
Thank you for everyone for the suggestion! I am going to look up that book now.
