I have done a similar thing with hard boiled egg instead of tuna. Very good!

That's such a good idea. I've never had an avocado before, I can't wait to try it.
    OMG! I worship them. :)

For the tuna salad (makes 2 servings):
    1/4 avocado (mashed)
1 can tuna (in water, NOT OIL)
    1 handful diced celery
    1 handful diced onions
    salt to taste

About 145 calories for 1 serving

If you want to put it on a sandwich:
2 slices Nature's Own 100% Whole Grain bread
    2 slices tomato
    1 leaf romaine lettuce

    Adds about 110 calories

Making the tuna salad this way using avocado instead of mayo lets you avoid all the saturated fat in the mayo and reap the benefits of the omega 3 fatty acids in the avocado, while also lowering the calorie count a bit. The taste kind of reminds me of guacamole but definitely still tastes like tuna salad. Try it and let me know what you think!

Just made it as promised, sooooo freaking yummy, better than mayo or miracle whip. I can't belive it's healthy. Gonna log it in a few minutes. Great recipe, Thank You!

This sounds awesome! I'm allergic to eggs, so no mayo for me. I'm going to try this with chicken too. :)
