My daily goal is 1250, but with exercise I end up eating anywhere between 1250-2300 calories a day. I pay more attention to weekly totals. So I may have 2500 calories on a rest day (normally Saturday) then go for a nice long run Sunday to balance everything out.0 -

Jeez, I really don't understand the number of people willing to mess up their health to be thin, as it is sure as hell obvious that you wont be aiming for health eating that little a day.0 -

Good lord, you are very light for a guy of that height.
Actually I think my weight is perfect for my current goal (long distance running). A BMI of 20 is near ideal for a male who wishes to maximize marathon performance.
That being said, I do lift weights (Stronglifts 5x5) and I realize that all my running and lean body will limit my strength gains.
After my first marathon in October I will consider gaining weight to help my weight lifting performance.0 -
