            well I am obviously hooked, Bought my padded cycling shorts, a big pot of sudocreme and thought I would just have a ten minute cycle to see how it felt with them. Anyhow 1hr 20 mins later I had done 11 miles with hardly any soreness and a great big grin 
 THAT"S GREAT! The shorts make a difference. And you are probably over the worst part anyways.0

            New to this thread, but rode 18 miles in last three days. Already looking forward to the August challenge! Bad arthritis in my knee so biking is my new thing.

 7/25 - 24 miles.What was going to be a short, easy spin ended up as a long, hard ride.
 45 miles at an average pace of 20+mph. Okay, easy one tomorrow, for sure.
 570 miles for the month.
 7/23 - 24 easy miles
 7/24 - 24 miles. HIIT (1/4 mile pulls at max effort). Ouch.

 I was always told "if it's above the neck, it's okay to train - if it's below, take time off and get it right, and work your way back into training gently - a couple of days extra TLC of yourself could save a fortnight or more of misery, or worse!"0

            30 miles this morning totaling 243 for the month. Did some HR zone training in zone 2 keeping my HR at 72% of max or less.
 Riding in support of the Wounded Warrior Project on Saturday. Looking forward to it.0

 Ha. I am fortunate to have a locker room at work and a flexible lunch. We have 4-5 guys out for 24 milers almost everyday. Couple of miles warm up/down to a little-used bike path (that's when the fun begins).
 Will be out of the country for the month of August, so won't be able to do that challenge.0
