    I'm in! New to challenges like this and tend to just quit, but I think having an accountability group will help tremendously! Goal is to run a half marathon by the end of the year, but I get intense shin splints (any good suggestions? I've tried lots of different things...)...but I will make my August goal 50 miles to start, as well as the 30 day shred! Soooo excited! I'm counting on y'all to help me through! :) I'll try to add the ticker, too!

    I'm going to try this as well... 60 miles will be my goal, I'd like to do more but I don't want to set myself up for failure, I'm already struggling with motivation...

    I struggled with shinsplints years ago.. I uggest getting proper shoes - go to running room or somewhere they can watch how you walk and pronate. Stretch before and after check out the dynamic stretches for running on youtube. I went to the physical therapist and we found intense acupuncture helped loosen up my calves. Compressions socks are amazing and they feel very nice after a long run/exercise session. Do not increase your training more than 10% each week...that's when i know i've overdone it and the shinsplints start.

    Use the first one and copy and paste the whole thing from the box the box. They give you 3 versions to be used on different types of websites, the first one should work on here... I think that's the one I used... I had some trouble when I first did it too

    I will do 50 km cycling and 50 km on cross trainer. I have reduced my target from July because I could not achieve it in July. I am more realistic this month and may be will improve on it in the next month:)
