"Move 04
Lying Triceps Extension
Lie face-up on a bench and hold a pair of dumbbells above your head, arms straight and palms facing each other. Without moving your upper arms, bend your elbows to lower the dumbbells until they are at either side of your head. Pause, then lift the weights back to the starting position. That's one rep."
At the boot camp I go to we do these with body bars...for obvious reasons, they are called "skull-crushers"

Wow....since I've always believed that the principles posted in the OP are a bunch of BS, I read through the entire thread looking for the before and after pics showing the awesome results from lifting little pink dumbbells thousands of times. A few very vociferous defenders of the routine, but not one single pic to disprove all the theories and studies saying it doesn't work. I thought maybe if it was proven that it worked so well for women, I'd try it myself - heck, it would be a lot easier than straining myself lifting these big, heavy dumbbells!
No pics? Not even one sleek, sexy, toned, buffed arm? Hmmm....guess I'll just keep on doing it the way that's been proven to work, over and over and over again....heavy weights, low/medium reps. At least there are pictures and, like, scientific studies and stuff to prove that it gives results.0 -
