5'1" working out 3x a week can easily eat 1600-1800 and still lose fat.
Lift weights and youll be amazed!
Give fat a reason not to exist!
Eat right and move right!2 -
I'm eating 1400, it's my BMR0

5'6", 265 pounds, 1400 cals a day0
-
5'4", 153 lbs - now eating 1550-1600 during the weekdays and 2000-2400 on Friday and/or Saturday. I don't do cardio and I lift 3x a week. I'm not looking to drop pounds each week, however but would be happy losing .5 lb a week (but some weeks don't quite get that). When I was in serious fat loss mode - I was eating 1600-1800 cals a day (some days about 2000 cals) and with my workouts, I was consistently losing 1 lb a week (what I wanted to lose).0

5'5 157 I am on the Keto Diet. My range is from about 1000-1300 depending on the day. I eat only when hungry and some days I eat more, some days I find it hard to eat 800 calories. in about 80 days I have lost 20 lbs.5

5'3", 129 pounds.
800 to 1000 calories, I never have ate very much, and I exercise every day.
Been on here for two weeks and dropped three pounds.2 -
5'2", 156lbs, and I eat between 1200-1500 calories most days. I've lost about 11lbs (in 8 weeks) since starting my current diet.2

5'7" 165 lbs 1550 per day which is about my BMR. I was eating 1200-1350 and plateaued. As soon as I went up to 1550 I started melting again. I am actually thinking I might up it a little bit more to my RMR instead of my BMR. Plateauing at 1200 is indeed scary but I suspect it is the norm. What I did was told myself I was going to do a ONE WEEK EXPERIMENT. If it worked, I would do a one month experiment. You're not going to GAIN by eating 1400 or 1500 for a week, unless you're like 3 feet tall and weigh 75 lbs. or something, so if you're plateaued anyway, give it a shot. The worst that can happen is you're still plateaued.2

I'm 5'7 and eat 1500 + exercise cals... I swear by http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ (I set it to sedentary simply so I can earn my exercise cals and enjoy). I've been losing .5-2 lbs a week.1

I am 5'2, 145lbs and when I first started I was at 1200cal a day, but worked out about 3x a week. 10 mins of kick boxing routines. now however I am up to 1300 because I have a very fast paced on your feet kind of job where as before I had a desk job. I think if you up your activity level, upping your calorie intake wont hurt you. Just be sure to drink plenty of water!!!!!0

5 feet 4.5, eating about 1800 to 2000 calories a day on workout days (lifting). On non-workout days I set my goal at 1460 but I don't always make that (I eat more). So my weight loss has been slllllooooooooooooooooowwwwww. It took me over a year to lose 18 pounds, but I only want to lose maybe 12 more, so I figure I can do that in this next year.0

I eat 2100 doing Whole30. I don't eat back exercise calories, but depending on the day I can burn 800+easily.0

It doesn't matter what works for everyone else. Based on your stats, your Basic Metabolic Rate is 1564. That's how many calories you'd burn if you spent 24 hours in bed. If you ate that everyday...you'd still lose weight, albeit slowly. 1400 is probably a good starting point for an increase.
You would need almost 1900 calories a day to maintain your weight. 1400 calories a day is a 500 calorie deficit (assuming you eat exercise calories.) You won't gain weight!1 -
