So glad to see this topic here. I'm always fearful of posting pics, because I'm not a skinny minnie and never have been. I have linebacker shoulders too. LOL When I start losing I will post ladies!0

I have a feeling that my body is going to look a LOT like yours when I lose a few more (25-30) lbs. Love your curves! You look great!0 -
So glad for this post as I too am "Big Boned". I've lost 19 lbs in 6 weeks (334 to now 315.5)
You all inspire me... I still have a looooong way to go0 -
I have a large frame. I'm 5'7" and my wrist is 7". I have broad shoulders, super wide hips and man calves lol. My before picture is from when I was around 350. As of today, I'm at 234.8 (and that's the first time I've ever posted my weight on here - big step for me). My Wii told me I need to be 140, but I think I'd look awful. I'm shooting more for 160-170-ish.
ETA: All of you ladies that have posted photos look AMAZING!
Looking great!
I am also 5'7 with a 7" wrist, and my goal is 160-ish. Currently at 256.0 -
Thank you futurestarz!
Add me if you want motivation0 -
I guess I should take some pictures, but am so uncomfortable doing so....but I will try! Have only had one person remark on my weight loss (other than family and hubby) but if I've gone from a 24 to a 18-20 in pants, something is working! Feel free to add me as a friend...we are on the path together!0

I don't have any pics yet, either. I don't know how to post them. Will have to get my fiance' to put mine up. Anyway, I also have a large frame and would be skeletal if I got to the weight that is suggested for my hight. I am 5'5" and started at 170. I have lost 9lbs and I would like to get to 155 (Maybe 150 so I can have a few lbs to play with). I want to be fit and make this a way of life, not a diet. Still, when I check my BMI it always states that I am overweight, even when I get down to my desired weight. We can't always go by charts. Good luck with your journey and feel free to "friend" me if you'd like.0

I'm 5'4.5", with a muscular build, 6.5" wrists, boobs and a butt. I'm new to MFP but have been working on losing weight and keeping it off since a cancer scare three years ago. My before/after pics are here:

The "fat pic" is of me at my highest recorded weight, in June 2009, just days before the false-positive mammogram that changed everything.
The pic with Mt. Rainier as the backdrop is of me one month ago (I'm the only woman in the pic). That one was taken on the summit of Crystal Peak, about 6500' above sea level Getting there involved a 3100' climb, including crossing a 300-yard-wide, extremely exposed (i.e. totally-screwed-if-you-slip-and-fall) snowfield! This would NOT have been possible for me in 2009!0 -
I am a bit over 5'4" with broad hips and shoulders.
