    She and I had been waiting ya know? can you believe Jovani must sense it and did not sleep at all Saturday night, and that her daughter was "scared" and crawled into bed?
    Can I say that last night her daughter tried to creep in again but I had to assure her that there are no freaking monsters in her well lit bedroom?

    Can I also share (and maybe brag a little too) that my son's team won their first (varsity) game on Friday night? Brandon made 3 of the 5 tackles on special teams. He told me after the game, only 12 more quarters and he could letter as a freshman....Yeah, I had to ask one of the guys what he meant. LOL

    We have a JV game tonight, and a Freshman game on Thursday...Can you feel the excitement?

    Mikey - All good thing to those who wait. Can I say I have been there before? After my son was born I made sure not to make her feel rushed back to it. I tied to make it extra special because she was now mom to my baby. btw...this is not a comment on you, just sharing how it was for me.

    Sheila, How proud are you??? May I say good luck to him and that I am hoping for a great season? I love football, especially HS football. Friday Night Lights Baby. Is it a big social event there as it is here? My son played up until the year before, broke his hand, late in the season and jeopardized the start of hockey so that ended that. But I still went to ever game last year. Wouldn't you know that I am planning on going to all this year as well?

    Mikey, Do you know how much of a sweetheart you are?

    I had so much fun this weekend but that drive home was brutal. Guess what I did? Would you believe I took today off to?? :tongue:

    I am a super proud mom!! Do you know how awesome it feels to hear your son's name over the loud speaker? And even more exciting to see him run across that field like his butt was on fire, and tackle that boy to the ground. I wanted to jump up and holler...that's my boy!!...but I didn't

    Can I second the Friday night lights!!! Also Monday, and Thursdays too!! LOL
