Well i always do the popular beef (or sub meat of your choice) that can either be eaten in taco shells (that's how i do) or with whatever...
I big hunk of meat (i often use a roast, my kids love beef for tacos, but you can use chicken breasts or pork, etc.)
Garlic
Packet dry Ranch Dressing Mix
Jar of Marzettis Pepperoncinis (the brand does make a difference honestly, they come out very soft and yummy)
Basically just rub the dressing mix over the meat, throw in garlic (or stick it in the roast), take the stems off the peppers and dump the whole jar in. Cook until desired doneness (6-8 on high for me with a roast).
We put it in corn tortillas and top with chopped onion and cilantro...the pepperoncinis give it a "lime" like spicy flavor, so to us it is like yummy street tacos!
Skinny taste is an excellent Website to get recipes from as well!
Also, sometimes i throw in a whole chicken and a bunch of dried lentils and whatever veggies i have around, and it becomes a delicious soup. I cool it, skim the fat and skin off if there is any (if i use a skinned chicken). It really is good. you can make anything in a crockpot!!0 -
I forgot i saw a recipe somewhere recently where people put the sweet potatoes on the bottom, put a layer of foil, then put their seasoned fish or chicken, and covered and cooked...sounded like a great way to do a double duty recipe.0

I have a whole PDF book that has lowfat crockpot recipes. It also has WW points. Here's the link I put on Beachbody a couple years ago. http://www.teambeachbody.com/connect/message-boards/-/message_boards/message/214417518?_19_delta=20&_19_keywords=&_19_advancedSearch=false&_19_andOperator=true&cur=1
If that doesn't work, just I will send it through email: darlene _pro@yahoo.com !

Undoubtedly the best chicken tacos you'll ever have are made in a crockpot.
You'll need 1 or 2 lbs of chicken (I used thighs; they're cheaper), 1 jar of salsa and a packet of taco seasoning. Dump all three ing. into crockpot. Stir, if you're into that sort of thing. And then set your timer to low. You can do this with frozen or thawed chicken.
Here's the original recipe: http://mychocolatetherapy.blogspot.com/2012/01/crockpot-chicken-tacos.html
I dare you not to stand over the crockpot, eating it straight outta-the-pot with a fork!!
Making these right now and just took a sample bite after 4.5 hours cooking. Best. Thing. Ever. I'm going to let them go a while longer so everything really gets in now that I shredded the chicken, but I am definitely ready to eat them now:happy:0 -
