I have only lost 15 pounds BUT....

    -I began 3 months ag
-my hips, thighs, and stomach are all noticeably thinner
-I went from not being able to get size 11 ****ies up my thighs (and busting a pair of 13's) to being able to shimmy into a pair of 11's (albeit with a muffin top).
-Anybody who has seen me recently who hasn't seen me in months comments on the fact I've lost weight
-I can walk up a flight of stairs without feeling like I'm going to die like I was feeling back in May
-I can now do 200 squats and 200 sit-ups! YAY!

I have only lost 34 lbs but....

    I can wear a 10 instead of a 14
I fit in Medium tops instead of L or XL
I can literally run a mile (even as a kid I walked the mile in PE and I was underweight then!)
I'm more muscle than I've ever been
I can say that I enjoy exercising and certainly never regret it, even if its hard to get started sometimes
    I have control

I have only lost 5 lbs. in my quest to get smaller But....

I have gained significant muscle mass, more confidence, more energy, more stamina, and more motivation to continue on. I have a bit of ways to go before I will reach my goal, but I feel confident that I will reach it eventually. :)

I have only lost 54 lbs but:
I can buy a freaking bra in the store again.
I'm wearing scrubs that haven't fit since 2006.
    I'm into a loose 22 from a tight 28 pants.
    My t-shirts are almost dresses.
I can drive my husbands car without moving the steering wheel.
I like looking in the mirror again.

I have only lost 6 lbs but...

*I am more confident in myself and in the process. NO MORE YO-YO DIETING
    *I rethink my food choices.
*I am excited for Tuesdays because I love hopping onto that scale and seeing results of my hard work.
*I like the MFP family I have talked to (feel free to add me!)
    *I actually enjoy running
*I ran my very first non-stop mile in my entire life last week and I plan on running a 5k someday =]
*I know I can reach my goals!

    Great post!

I have "only" lost 39 pounds, but ...

I am proud that I have stayed on plan every day/week since I started in February.
I am truly optimistic and hopeful about my future.
I know I can and will stay on track and reach my goals.
My plantar fasciitis has all but disappeared.
I am down a full size in clothing.
I hardly ever experience heartburn at night anymore.
I have more energy and don't get winded as easily walking, climbing stairs, etc.
I am changing life-long habits of comforting myself with food, eating when stressed or frustrated.
I am losing this excess weight as a kindness to myself, because I deserve to live a long, full, healthy, happy, love-filled, joy-filled, prosperous life surrounded by positive people I love and who love me.

I have only lost 7 lbs BUT

I am feeling so happy all the time
I have learned I can eat more and be more full with the right types of food
I am going for rice cakes as a snack instead of candy, walks instead of beers
I can actually wake up when my alarm goes off
I have more confidence and am feeling sexy all the time

And most importantly I know I am in it for the long haul this time and I will achieve my goal!

This website offers so much encouragement and inspiration. It makes my goals seem possible. And when I do start doubting, I just come to the success stories for a pick me up. (which is exactly why I came here tonight and, look, my first post and a reminder of how we should be looking at things! Love it!)

I have "only lost" 35 lbs BUT

    I have more energy
I have more confidence in myself
I have gone from a tight 22 to an 18
I don't deprive myself in order to keep myself on track
I get more attention because of the great confidence
I still sometimes see myself as the old person sometimes. It's in pictures where I can see my weight loss difference
I have had up and downs, but am here for the long haul.

Thank you to all my supporters and MFP!!!

    Bump for motivation.

I've only lost 19lbs (was 24 but then went on holiday!!! Damn)

    but:

I've gone down 3 dress sizes
I'm fitter (i.e. I can run up the stairs without being all puffed out! - oh and can blow dry and straighen my hair without my arms feeling like they are about to fall off!)
Oh my latest - bought a size UK 14 dress from a 'regular' shop 2 days ago for my party and it fits (picture will be posted tomorrow or Sat)

Still have a LONG way to go.

Sorry, but "only" doesn't come into it. Any loss, however large or small, is an achievement.

    So

I have lost 2Kg and already...
I am starting to feel less fat, and
I am walking more purposefully, and
    My head is held high!

I have only lost 31lbs, but

I am the fittest I have been in my adult life
My clothes are getting baggier and baggier
I can feel my hip bones when I lie down (whew hew!)
My stomach is shrinking and I'm feeling more self confident and less 'oh no, people think I'm pregnant, wah'
I can fit into a pair of shorts that I never thought I'd be able to fit into (and they're getting looser!)
I HAVE MUSCLES IN MY ARMS :O
My immune system is FANTASTIC, I haven't been sick since I started my weight loss journey (and it's flu season here at the moment!)
    My skin is clearer
My depression and anxiety isn't as bad!
    I'm happier :)

    I look much younger
My “skinny jeans” now fit me loose
My stomach doesn’t stick out when I sit down
I can almost touch fingertips when I put my hands on my waist!
I can do 60 minutes on the elliptical
I can train with my body builder husband and keep up
I can see muscle definition in my arms
My double chin is gone completely!
My BIGGEST critic (my 14 year old daughter) told me, “you look great!”

I'm working on earning my Insanity tshirt
I'm actually an inspiration to others

I have only lost 7ish pounds, but....

I've kept them off, even though I really lost them in June/July!
The pants I ripped sitting in a car in May are now a little baggy!

    It's a start. :)

Good for you keep up the good work.
