That's sooo awesome! You're doing great and I can see a HUGE difference, especially in your face. But everywhere.

Wow! Great job! Did you have problems with joint/muscle pain? Despite having 150 pounds to lose, I just started a similar program to run a 5K - it's called Run with God, and it starts off slow and takes 13 weeks. I'm struggling but determined to do it as it seems the only times in my life I've been successful losing weight, I ran for exercise. Now for the stupid question: What does NSV mean? I keep seeing it referenced on MFP.

I've had some muscle pain, but it's been the good kind I guess.

The only other pain I've had is in my left foot. I thought I may have had a stress fracture in it about a week and a half ago from over using it, but the doc thought differently and I think he was right because it's been getting increasingly better and I think I'll be able to return to my running routine this week.

Does this mean we can all start calling you "the guy formerly known as BigMike" ? :). That's great that you've done so well already. congrats and I wish you all the strength you need to get to your end goal.
  • That is Amazing! Great work. I'm just starting the couch to 5k today...I hope I can complete it this time. I have started once before, and quit at about week 4. But I really want to be healthy so I need to stay motivated and make good decisions!

I really do. I still lack motivation some times though.

Oh and it's nice to need to buy new clothes because my old ones are too big instead of the other way around!
