Hi there,
I'm a mom to a five year old girl. While the pregnancy was a rough one since I was sick pretty much until the end, it was well worth it:) I did gain over 60 pounds, which is A LOT on my 4,11 frame. Through really hard work, I did lose it all within 15 months. I exercise whenever I can fit it in, although I prefer late afternoons/evenings. I don't plan on having any more children, but then again, never say never.
I'm motivated to work out since that is the only time I really move - I'm a full time Ph.D student working on my dissertation. I have two more chapters to go - yay! I'm also motivated to work because I've put on about 20 pounds from all that stress eating! In addition to losing that dissertation stress pudge, I'm motivated to work out so that I can beat my last half marathon time of 1:55. I'll be doing a race soon and would love to shave off at least 5 minutes of that time.
Feel free to add me:)0 -

I want her to be fit, strong and beautiful, well they say kids take after there parents I can't do the beautiful but I'll be damned if she doesn't see me being strong and fit! Have a good day lovely people!0 -

Nope, we're super happy with our family of four!!!

Hello, my name is Keri I am 32, married to my best friend, and a stay at home mom of two wonderful children.
1.) How old are your children and how many do you have?
I have two children. Dane just turned 6 years old and Lauren is 3 years old.
2.) Will you be planning to have more kids in your future?
We decided early on that we only wanted two children. So no more for us.
3.) How was your pregnancy/delivery?
My first pregnancy was very scary at first. I had a lot of bleeding and even thought at one point I lost the baby. After the first few weeks it started going smoothly. I had a c-section with Dane because he was breech and was too big to turn. He weighed in at 10 lbs and 23 inches long.
My second pregnancy was a breeze compared to the first one. I was trying to go for a VBAC but unfortunately was informed that the baby's head would never engage because my pelvic bones are tilted inwards instead of outwards. So Lauren was born via c-section as well. She weighed in at 7 lbs 6 oz and 20 inches long. A lightweight compared to Dane. Haha.... I was so afraid I was going be too rough with her.
4.) When do you fit in time to exercise?
I get in my exercise in the early morning after I get Dane off to school, and Lauren and my husband are still sleeping.
5.) What is your main motivation to be fit?
My main motivation to be fit is to be a great role model for my children. I don't want them to have to grow up and be teased in school because they are overweight. I was teased all the way through school and I don't want them to have to go through all that. I also want to be healthy0 -

5.) What is your main motivation to be fit?
My answers:
1.) I'm a mother of two. I have a 4 yr old son named Quentin, and an 11 month old daughter named Lydia. : )
2.) No more kids. We are happy with two!
3.) My pregnancies where great until the late second trimesters. Both my children tried to come out early, and I was on mandatory bedrest until 37 weeks. My son was an emergency c-section (because he got stuck in my birth canal), and my daughter was a planned c-section (to avoid what happened the first time).
4.) I exercise around 8pm when my youngest is in bed.
5.) My main motivation is to be a good role-model to my kids. Not only that-- but to also be one of those "hot" moms, and not one has to wear "mom jeans" because that's all I can fit in.
1) Mother of one child - he is 18 months old and named Senyo

3.) How was your pregnancy/delivery?
Both pregnancies, aside from back pain, were very easy and so was delivery. I literally pushed for 3-5 mins with each of them.
4.) When do you fit in time to exercise?
I run during my lunch break or take them with me on our jogging stroller, or I work out at home at night.
5.) What is your main motivation to be fit?
I've never been this heavy in my life and I just want to look and feel good again. Plus I want my kids to always live a healthy lifestyle.0 -
Hi! I have 3 kids. Maddie is 9, jack is 5, and Claire is 3. No more babies in our house! My labors and births were great. First one was hospital with an epidural and a total of about 8 hours. The second two were water births at a birth center and they were both 3 hours from the time my water broke til the end. I typically run around 8pm after the kids are in bed and if I work out during the day, I do a JM video during nap time. My motivation to be fit is simply that I don't want to live the rest of my life with an extra 20-30 pounds talking of the days that I used to be skinny. It's been tough and I'm only about six months into this with more plateaus than loss, but I'm doing my best to stick with it. Looking forward to school starting back just a little to have some extra structure to my day. I'm currently looking to add more support on here and Moms with similar struggles or those who have had great success would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to add me.0

Hey fellow moms!!
1). Have 2 children- Marley Elena 8 y/o and J.T. - 10 months.
2). We didnt think we'd have 2, so I am 99.9% sure we are done. If we had a bigger home and more $$ I would do it in a heartbeat.
3). Had terrible morning sickness with Marley for the first 3 months. Quick 5 hour delivery with epidural. Easy Peasy. Pregnancy with JT was easy, no sickness, but did have high blood pressure(which I actually have now chronically because of genetics) Delivery was less than 2 hours NO DRUGS! Not my plan, but wish I would have done it the first time that way!
4). I work out at 4:30-5 a.m. almost every morning. If I dont get up I squeeze in a lunch break workout or after work workout(which I loathe) I run/lift weights/spin/zumba/elliptical, etc. I like a variety so I dont get bored.
5). Motivation: My kids are a given. But also, both my parents are overweight though my dad was always pretty active in his younger days. I dont wish to be supermodel skinny or really even close to it. I just want to feel good in my skin and be happy with me....and I am!0 -

4.) When do you fit in time to exercise?
well my fiance who i have been with for 10 years is highly supportive, so i train 4 days a week usually in the morning at my uncles house as he is a fitness trainer/ nutrionist. Im just finishing my first week, so i have my first weighing tomorrow.
5.) What is your main motivation to be fit?
My main motivation was my wedding in November, but since starting and seeing the diffrence in my old lifestyle to my new lifestyle , my new motivation is my children and my happiness, i wanna be fit for them and i want them to lead by example, and i want to look in the mirror and be happy, and be able to say ' hey for a mother of 4, you look gooood' loooooool.

1) I have 6 kids
Logan Gray (12)
Tyler Austin (11)
Kaitlyn Elisabeth (8)
Cameron James (4)
Cara Grace (3)
Ava Rose (9 weeks)
2) We think two chidren are plenty
3) The pregnancies were pregnancies. All full term, felt great until the end and then I couldn't wait for it to be over with. All vaginal deliveries with the first being 8 hours and the last two being 3 and 2 hours respectively. All edpidurals except the last (decided after the 3 hr labor with Cara, I wanted to try it at least once with out it with Ava)
4) After the oldest 3 go to school and I get the baby fed I put Cara and Cameron on the couch to "watch" and do a kettlebell workout. In the evenings, my hubby and I walk together after we get the youngest ones in bed. Logan is a great helper.
5) I want to do what I can now to prevent health problems in the future. I have too many people depending on me.0 -
1.) How old are your children and how many do you have? (share names if you wish)
I have 3 children. My daughter is 23 and my sons are 17 and 14.
2.) Will you be planning to have more kids in your future?
No, I am 40 years old now! plus, the one advantage to having kids young is that I will still be young when they are all grown. I'll only be 44 when my baby goes off to college. My husband and I have great plans once we have an empty nest!
3.) How was your pregnancy/delivery?
Pregnancy and labor, very very hard for me. I am not a woman who gives birth easily. I never made it to my due dates either, all three came early. My daughter was 2 weeks early, oldest son was 2 months early, and youngest was a month early.
4.) When do you fit in time to exercise?
I exercise first thing in the early morning and in the evening. Sometimes I get to the gym in the middle of the day. My work schedule is starting up again soon so I will have to hit the gym early in the mornings before work.
5.) What is your main motivation to be fit?
My health! I want to be strong and healthy well into my elderly years. My husband and kids motivate me too, I love them very much and want to be around for/with them.0 -
have three children 10-Mathew 9- Angelina 2- Jaime. We are not planning to have any more children! All of my preg were good, I on the other hand was very uncomfotable through all of them.....I would normally go to the gym with my hubby but after the last child I invested in beachbody workout programs and relized that me , my self got a better work out at home including weights...then going to the gym and putting the kids in the play room ect. I workout for my energy for the kids and mostly I alswas want my husband look at me the way he did before kids wink wink .....0

1.) How old are your children and how many do you have? (share names if you wish)
We have one child, who is 5 years old. He also happens to have autism.
2.) Will you be planning to have more kids in your future?
Probably not. I have diabetes, which complicates things, there's a higher risk of autism in a second child and... I'm not getting any younger.
3.) How was your pregnancy/delivery?
Pregnancy was stressful but not eventful.
4.) When do you fit in time to exercise?
That's a huge problem for me. I work full time, so it's hard to validate more time away from my son.
5.) What is your main motivation to be fit?
Being around for my son long term, teach him good eating and exercise habits.0
