I have "only lost" ..... (Insert pounds here) BUT!

I have only lost 28 lbs (8 lbs before MFP) but....
- I went 12 weeks with no desserts/candy, and now when I eat them, I eat one bite and I'm satisfied. I made a peanut butter ball (normal size) last 3 days.
- All of the pants that fit tightly in May are now baggy, and all the pants that I couldn't fit into now fit comfortably.
- All of my shirts are falling off of me/ have turned into dresses.
- My mini skirts aren't mini skirts any more.
- I did a triathlon and felt good at the end.
- I plan ahead for eating so that I'm not at the mercy of vending machines and fast food.0 -
I have only lost 18 lbs (7 lbs from goal), but...
I've gone from a size 8/M-L to a size 4/5/S-XS depending on the clothes.
I can hike for a few hours without getting winded, vs barely being able to hike for 20 minutes before.
I can do all levels of Jillian Michaels' Ripped in 30 without stopping.
My tummy is almost flat again!
I can use 5 lb dumbbells for all my workouts rather than the 2-3 lb I was using before. Not much, but getting there!\
ETA:
It's been so long since I drank pop that I don't even like it anymore. One sip is enough to last me for months!
I'm also not a huge fan of dairy (with the exception of yogurt) anymore, although I do eat it once or twice a week.0 -
I have only lost 27 lbs but...
- My clothes are fitting better and damnit, I look better.
- I can see muscle definition in my arms which is facinating me to no end.
- I'm actually enjoying getting my tailpipe kicked in NROL4W and Jillian Michaels workouts. (Never EVER thought I'd be the girl that says "I like to work out and eat celery and drink water.")
- I'm drinking A LOT less. I love me some booze and will have a glass of wine or two occasionally but this is something I've cut back on more than I thought I would be able to.
- Having a more active lifestyle has improved my relationship with my husband. Unexpected, kick *kitten* NSV.0 -

I burned 15 pounds and went from a size 8 to a size 2. Say, "I burned fat" - not lost. If you lose something you will find it.
And give away your old, big clothes so you have no excuse to fit back in them. Keep up the good work.
I like your way of thinking!
I have only lost ... oops! Burned! 20lbs and have renewed energy! Plus, I can wear clothes that haven't fit in a few years!0 -
I have only lost 1 pound, but I just started 3 days ago, and I'm happy that I've stuck with it so far. Yesterday, I came in under my calorie goal, and I hope to do the same today. I'm hoping that it will just be habit to enter what I've eaten, and today I actually measured portions to see how much milk I actually drank and how much peanut butter and jam I put on my toast.0

bump for later0

This is truly an inspiring thread!
I have "only" lost 41 pounds BUT!
I just bought a pair of size 6 jeans when last december I was busting out of size 14's!
I eat healthy by choice every meal and love logging everything I eat!
I seek fun ways to increase my activity and love my barre 3 workouts!
I enjoy hearing from everyone on MFP's forums to hear new ways to stay fit!0 -
woohoo ! Great idea! I've only lost 14lbs,
but I can wear the clothes that are actually in my closet now! I wore a pair of pants I haven't fit into for two years, and they felt great.
l am now aware of what I put into my body, and try to make it as healthy as possible. My fuel should be the best it can be!
I can still treat myself to things like chocolate, which I love, but I've learned how to do so in moderation.
I have gained a lot of friends and support on MFP and that is one of the BEST things!!! (Feel free to add me if you are awesome and commited, btw0
