  • Thank you so much, I am always trying to find foods than I can eat without the huge calorie and fat content. This recipe added to my favorites list! :)

WOW! These pancakes are great. With Cytosport powder, it comes out to 194 calories for three large cakes. I also used vanilla almond milk and dropped the vanilla extract. Even the kids liked them. A definite winner.

So I made these this morning. I've never even made pancakes from a mix before. They tasted really good, but I wouldn't describe mine as "fluffy". But that might be because I didn't use as much baking powder in them. And that was due to the high sodium levels in baking powder (I'm trying to watch my sodium, I have high blood pressure). So next time, I'm going to find an alternative w/ the baking powder.
But mine came out as follows:
179 calories (used Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein, Vanilla Cream and I also used Crystal Farms liquid egg whites- 4 tbs - instead of 2 egg whites)
    32 protein
    2 fat
    12 carbs
    2 sugars
633 sodium (it would've been more if I used the full amount of baking powder, but I used 1/2 tsp)

Anyway, they were very good & very easy to make. Happy I found this recipe.

Next up, I'm going to make protein tortilla wraps with unflavored protein powder!

Trying these tomorrow morning! I only have 2% milk on hand and I think my Protein powder has more calories than yours because I entered the recipe on MFP and it came out to 262 calories.

Will let you know how they turn out - thanks for sharing!
