The Changeling, starring George C. Scott (not the one with Angelina Jolie). It may be a dated kind of scary, but it had some really creepy moments in it. It's old. Maybe late 70's? No gore.

Frailty, with Matthew McConaughey. Some gore, excellent story.

Ok I can't go back through all of these but if anybody mentioned Innkeeper I hope they mentioned it as SUCK *kitten* MOVIE! OMG I fell asleep through it..never saw anything even remotely scary. Has anybody seen this who thought it should be listed as a "thriller/horror" film???

*The Innkeepers* <--official name of movie

If you don't mind reading subtitles I'd really recommend The Audition. It's a Japanese film, currently on Netflix streaming for your convenience.

Man, I sound like a customer representative.

Seven is definitely a great thriller.
I am looking to watch Snowtown pretty soon, I've heard its pretty hard to sit through. Guess I'd better keep my cat around to squeeze really hard.

We own the American version of Funny Games, it's one that I won't watch again, and I love horror/suspense/psychological thriller movies. I can't even tell you if it was good, it was just completely disturbing, and one of the main reasons I won't let strangers into my home (even if they seem perfectly nice and polite).

The original Alien is a pretty amazing scary movie.
I also would recommend The Exorcist. Even not being religious, that movie disturbed the crap out of me.

The Strangers always freaked me out and Pet Semetary.

I love the Strangers. I don't get creeped out very easily but I was majorly freaked out when I first saw it. I saw it alone in the movie theater because no one else wanted to go with me. I lived in the middle of nowhere in corn field country and when I was trying to sleep that night the wind was blowing our wind chimes really hard and I was like "Oooohhhh hell no!" and my husband was like like "Calm down ya Dork!". Lol!

I loved the movie the Orphanage. It's good, eery and messes with your head, but be ready to cry your eyes out.
