Question for the guys - What do men look for in a woman?

Nobody approaches a girl at a bar because of her personality.
Boobs help. Big ones.0 -

I'm sure that catches his attention, but what keeps it?0 -
Sense of humor, into cars, likes to rough-house as a means of foreplay... the usual.0

Do you answer yes on the intial yes/no question that takes every man about a tenth of a millisecond to answer...
if so, personality and all that other **** come into play...0 -
Although I am not a guy, it seems that being fun, sense of humor, easy going, smart, not clingy, and secure with yourself - and of course take pride in your appearance - isn't it the same for both sexes? And good/fun in the sack.....0
-
SIGH.
Despite their sometimes misguided attempts to convince us otherwise.. men as a group or "species" are just as individual, unique and multi-faceted as women.. and so then too are their preferences.0 -
It varies from guy to guy!0

Almost exactly what I was gonna say...pride in yourself is huge IMO0 -

Apart from physical attraction...
Smart...intelligent, funny, career minded/goal driven.
There is also the what I don't look for which trumps the above:
Not clingy, not needy, not insecure, not JADED...it's hard to find someone who doesn't lug arround these kind of attributes.0 -

Thanks for adding the "what I don't look for"0 -
Boobs, then a nice smile. After that, the personality. Physical attraction always comes first but almost all guys need her to have a good personality to want a LTR.0

I actually read an article in Glamour magazine where they interviewed a bunch of men and a lot of them said that we judge ourselves too harshly on what our bodies look like, that the majority of them think we look just fine and aren't into big fake boobs and skinny as a rail. Found that interesting, you always hear a guy say, "you look fine.." but you just think they are being nice, maybe they're really telling the truth, haha0

Depends on the guy.
Physically, I look for good hair,
The way she's carrying herself. Not looking like with low-self esteem or over confident
If she's smiling alot . Sorry but if you're with me i'll be telling alot of stupid jokes and while you shouldn't be faking the laugh, you should atleast tell me someway that you can be amused
Once thats taken care of and I find her attractive, can I talk to her? Is she somebody I cannot relate to at all (valley girl types aren't my type).
But above all, what I really REALLY look for in a girl
is that she's not a b****0 -

I think this is 100% of the average male. There are some men who are into the superficially created woman (big boobs, perfect *kitten*, skinny body, etc etc) but I don't think they're that common.
All the men I've known just love women. Period. No matter the shape!0 -

good heart- honesty is a must, compassion, gentleness, handles herself with dignity... more?0

I've always wondered what constitutes as needy or clingy or insecure? Are we talking extreme cases or is any level of these equally unattractive?
I think everyone feels insecure or needy at times (like when one is sick! HAHA!) but I don't think these things are inherently unattractive unless they are over the top and constant.
Just sayin'. Haha.0 -
Seems like a lot of men should just say "a female version of myself"0

We really aren't as deep as women think we are.0

I think the better question is "What drives men away?".
Ever notice that unattractive girls have boyfriends too? Sure, cuties will get our attention - but then it's a quick list of traits that 'remove' them from the list. Among them are the "Princess" entitlement. I do not exist for her pleasure - I am not a slave. If I'm given the impression that I have to do ANYTHING in order to be blessed with a smile - see ya. If I am not important enough to her to do the little things for - without some massive repayment plan, see ya. If I'm expected to take her out to a fancy and expensive resturant so that I may enjoy the pleasure of her company - see ya.
I want an equal - not a superior, nor an inferior. If she can't treat me in the same way as I treat her - see ya.
I've seen many women freely and of their own accord treat others, in a way you could not pay me to do. To them, they are being "choosey" - to me they made my decision for me ... see ya.0 -
We really aren't as deep as women think we are.
That's good news0
