When I am lazy I take an avocado and a pouch of salmon mix it together and eat it with wheat thins (sundried tomato flavor). I had this just a few minutes ago. It seems I have been eating this a lot lately. I have been to busy to cook.

I really like salads, so I throw together a chickpea tuna salad. Romaine and red-leaf lettuce, a can of tuna, 1/3 to 1/2 can of chickpeas, a little Italian dressing and a splash of lemon juice. Delicious. Could also be really good with canned chicken!0

Canned tuna, or beans, or cottage cheese with raw vegetables.
Or oatmeals + fruit.
Cottage cheese (well i want to say tvorog, not sure if it's the same thing) plus fruit make a quick and tasty smoothie, very satisfying. Oww, I need to replace my broken blender, I miss my smoothies )0 -
Butterfly a chicken breast and throw it on the George Forman grill for a few minutes. Reduced calorie bun, Hellman's light mayo, lettuce and tomato, salt and pepper. Delicious.0

At the minute i'm loving strawberries with blackberries and apple diced with two spoons of greek style yogurt with honey on top. I also love warm chicken salads so easy to throw together and tasty too!0

I like campbells tomato soup made with milk so it is more nutrient dense & is more filling. I like to make some garlic toast on the stove to go with it out of whole wheat bread that I toast in a pan with parm cheese & garlic seasoning.
Cereal is also a favorite meal of mine. Any time of day. lol
I like grilled sandwiches. It just makes it into more of a meal when you grill it. Also great with some low cal canned soup.
Pickled eggs on low fat crackers with tobasco sauce.0 -
i) Diced green apple with greek yogurt and spoonful of granola sprinkled on top.
ii) Purple sweet potatoes (microwaveable)
iii) Oatmeal or oatbran with soymilk with a dash of cinnamon - yummo!0 -
I sometimes have a container of Chobani with 1/4 cup of almonds as my lunch if I have to work and don't have time to sit down to eat. Or if I'm feeling lazy at home I can throw together a wrap in less than 5 minutes. I usually make them with lunch meat, egg salad, or tuna salad.0

Chicken breast added to a simple salad. Fast and delicious!
Edit: But I always love to cook! LOL0 -
Peanuts and fresh fruit. I have this almost every day for my work lunch. I find it filling and I don't feel like I'm going to fall asleep at my desk at 3 pm.0

i know this is cooking... but its super fast: scrambled eggs or an omlette with meat and veggies
i will stop while i am ahead but those are my favs:)0 -
Cheerios
Scrambled eggs, egg sandwich, hard boiled eggs
Greek yogurt and fruit, with uncooked oatmeal and toasted almonds sprinkled on it
I have gotten pretty good at whipping up a salad in just a few minutes and I toss some black or kidney beans and a little goat cheese on top. (Love the lettuce mixes, mini cucumbers and baby bell peppers. My 5 year old does too.)
Hummus with raw veggies and a handful of mini pretzels.
Progresso light soups.
I also usually have a couple Lean Cuisine in the freezer for "just in case".
I find cooking a large quantity of protein at a time comes in very handy for quick salads, sandwiches, etc. Right now I have a container of ground turkey cooked and crumbled, and just baked 2 lbs of beautiful fresh salmon. I also usually boil a dozen eggs each week, peel them & keep them in a tightly sealed plastic dish for quick snacks or meals, salad toppings etc.0 -
Amy's Vegan Vegetable Pizza, I add a few more peppers and sundried tomatoes to it. Its about 400 calories for half of the pizza! Takes only 10 minutes to bake too0
-
sardines and triscuit dill crackers....
I'll have to try this I've recently bought some sardines and anchovies but havent been brave enough to try.
My go to meal is cottage cheese, tomatoes, and lemon pepper0 -
I do the salad thing too.
Typically I cook chicken tenderloins a few times a week, and always have leftovers, so I stick the grilled pieces in the fridge.
Quick Salad:
Cut up Leftover Grilled Chicken
Lettuce of Choice
Carrots
Cucumber
A sprinkle of cheese
2 tbs of croutons (for crunch) OR sometimes I use McCormick Salad Toppins
Light Raspberry Vinaigrette0 -
Usually I will throw a salad together with tons of veggies, olive oil, vinegar, and a can of garbanzo beans. I think I could eat this everyday!0
-
Water packed salmon or tuna with veggie wheat thins; taste GREAT and VERY fulfilling0
-
Greek yogurt
Egg white omelet or egg white sandwich
Smoothie with protein powder0 -
Once a week a make a huge crockpot full of chicken to have during the week for lunches or super easy dinners. I take 8 - 10 frozen chicken thighs, sprinkle over seasoning and sometimes some onions, and cook the whole thing overnight and its perfect the next morning. a few minutes of advance planning and my week just got a whole lot easier.
This is what i have when i don't want to, or don't have time to, cook. So nummy! This can turn into chicken salad, plain roast chicken, sandwiches, you name it....enjoy!0
