    ROUND 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Week 1 Day 1 Core Cardio & Balance

    Since I just did a Fit Test I decided to substitute today's workout for Core Cardio & Balance. I love this one. I've seen some great progress since round 1. I'm able to last longer in all of the exercises. I can complete all the level 1 drills and I only needed to take 1 break during the plank walks. My shoulders are burning!!!

    I am on week 2 of round 1 of insanity. Wish I wouldn't have weighed myself today b/c I gained 2 lbs. But, I will keep pushing through b/c I want to prove to myself that I can complete the Insanity program!!

    Don't worry about what the scale says during Insanity. Your body is going to go crazy because of the additional intensity and your muscles will retain water like crazy. You may find yourself hungrier than normal as well. I promise it will all even out in the end. Keep going because the feeling of accomplishment you'll get from finishing the program is something to experience!

    Insanity is a kick butt workout program from Beachbody. Shaun T is the instructor and he's awesome. It's a 60 day program that's split into 2 months...5 workouts scheduled in month 1 and 4 new ones during month 2. If you google "Insanity" there are tons of videos for you to watch to see what it's all about.

    PJ anything is allowed! Keep going no matter what but go at your own pace. It doesn't get any easier but you do get stronger so just keep plugging away! Good luck!

    Week 1 Day 2 Plyometric Cardio Circuit

    I kept up much better this time around; however, the 2nd circuit of level 1 drills, ski abs, and in and outs still killed me!

    I started yesterday! Round 1 week 1! I need all the motivation I can get. I've done month one before but hit sidetracked after summer vacation and never finished it. I have about 20lbs to go for my goal weight so I really want to get through it this time!!

    I enjoyed the stretching during this one. Max Recovery is so much harder so it was nice to scale things back again to this level.

    Hi Sammie - don't be terrified of any program! It may be tough at first to get through something like Insanity but you can do it. I am a 44 year old woman and I was able to get through the first round w/o problem. Was it hard...OMG YES...but I was determined to finish what I started.

    Week 1 Day 5 Pure Cardio

    I was dripping after only completing the warm up so I knew today's workout was going to be a doozie! I'm happy to see that tomorrow is the end of week 1 round 2!

    I survived Pure Cardio! I'll be switching around the next workout and my rest day because I'm running a 5K in the morning and swing dancing that night.
  • I started Insanity on Monday. I started it a few weeks ago but picked up an injury while running. So vie had a couple of weeks of rest and I am pumped to complete it this time.

    Pure Cardio today kicked my *kitten* but I managed it. Looking forward to Plyo card tomorrow as it means its the end of the week!!

    I do the exercise in the evening. I spend all day giving myself an excuse not to do it, so as soon as I get in from work I put my workout clothes on. As soon as the kids are in bed I put the dvd on. I feel so good about myself when I've finished. I never thought I would be able to do such a demanding workout so I'm really proud of myself and I'm determined to get to the end.
