    I'm 5'8" and just started this weekend. At 155 now and aiming for 145 ish :)

    I'm 5'8" and currently at 163. I'm down 11 lbs. since I started a month ago. My daughter says I'm obsessed so I guess I need some new people to talk to. lol Feel free to add me.

    5' 6.5" and 161 currently! Hoping to get to 150 in the short term. UGW is somewhere around 135-140 :)

  • Im 5'8" started off 2 years ago at 220 got down to 158lbs 6 months ago and now back up to 170lbs !!! Need some help remotivating i want to be going the other way :) goal 150lbs!!

    I'm just under 5'7" and started at 170. Lost my first 10, but want to get down to 145 ideally. I'm a 38 year old mother of three who is trying to live a healthy life without radical diets. Add me if you'd like. Maybe we can motivate each other.

    I'm a tad taller than that (5'9), but I'm 163 right now (starting weight 213) and my goal weight is 140.:smile:

    5'8 and weighed in at 149.2 this morning. My goal is 136-138. Hoping to get there by the end of the year (hopefully much sooner!)

    160 WAS my original goal weight. But now I've realized with all the heavy lifting I do and beautiful muskels I have, 180 is where it's at.

    im a 25yo, 5"6" im short by an inch but i weigh in at 165lbs and im going to shed 30lbs, anyone feel free to add me as the more suport the more motivation :happy:

    I'm 5'8 and started at 227...Was 167 last year this time, added weigh training to the running I was doing from the start, and is currently 176.....

    And frankly, I don't give a damn about the number on the scale, because I wear a size smaller than last year at 167, looks thinner, is fitter and don't have flabby arms anymore! :drinker: :love:

    I'm 5' 7", 35 years old, mother of 3 young children. Started at 193; down to 180 at the moment. Goal weight is 155 lbs with a few small milestones set along the way. I'm an avid Fitbit user (and need more friends on there!), a power-walker, HUGE fan of Leslie Sansone DVD's, a one-time Honolulu Marathoner (itching to try again), and an elliptical junkie. Sometimes I get my exercise through snorkeling or the trampoline with the kids or Xbox Nickoledeon Dance or Zumba (during the rainy season here). I struggle with our bad habit of eating out and also not choosing enough fruits/veggies! I would LOVE some like-minded friends on this journey, so if you see some common grounds at all, please consider adding me!

    People need to stop being so hung up on scale weight. Body fat % is where it's at. Two 5'8 girls could both weigh 145 but one might be at 25% BF and the other at 19%....guess who is going to look like they weigh less? Weight doesn't mean anything.

    You are my hero......:flowerforyou: My bodyfat % at 167 was 29% - I'm 176 now and my bodyfat is down to 23%.....Guess which weight I like most?

    Exactly! I would much rather weight 175 and have 23% body fat....congrats to you on your success! I hope to get down to 20% and I'm sitting around 30% right now. I don't care what I weigh when I get there!

    I was kind of in the same boat. I'm 5'6.5" with a goal of 140. Got stuck at 153 and couldn't get below. I started doing just 3 days per week of high intensity intervals (walk briskly for 3 minutes, sprint for 1) and I started losing again. I am currently at 149.
  • I am 5'8, I just started a few weeks ago at 193.6 and I am now 192. I would love to be 160...or at least like to feel like I weigh that much (tone more from weight training).

    I'm 5'7 with a starting weight of 172, current weight of 168. I'm hoping to be 135 soon.

    ETA 135 is just a number smack in the middle of what would be a healthy BMI for my height. My actual goal is much more appearance related and I'm getting there.... slowly slowly slowly.

    that's me! currently 154.5 but when I started on MFP I was 167.5 and heading downwards is great! Hope to be around the 143 lb mark, looking muscular and toned :)
