What I'm about to type - I did NOT start here 8 months ago!! I was on really small weights in February 2012 when I started, maybe 5-7.5lbs, doing mostly 3 sets of 12 reps.

Ok here's what I did today at the gym.

    Legs:
One leg box squats: 4 sets of 12 LEFT, 4 sets of 12 RIGHT
Goblet Squats: 50lb kettlebell, 5 sets of 8

    Arms:
Triceps Dips (on flat bench, legs straight in front of me): 4 sets of 10
    Shoulder raises(side and front): 12.5lbs, 5 sets of 5
Pull Ups (assisted machine): 70lbs counter weight, 1 set of 6, 1 set of 3
    Bicep curls: 20lbs, 5 sets of 5

    Chest:
Chest Press, on 10 degree incline bench: 20lbs in each hand, 4 sets of 10
Fly, on 45 degree incline bench: 20lbs in each hand, 5 sets of 8
Chest press (machine): 70lbs, 5 sets of 5

    Back:
Lower Back (machine): 130lbs, 5 sets of 8
    Low Row 85lbs, 3 sets of 8

    Abs:
Torso Rotation (machine): 115lbs, 4 sets of 8
Crunches on the mat: 3 sets of 25 LEFT, 3 sets of 25, Right, 3 sets of 25 CENTER
Planks on toes: 1x60 sec, 1x50 sec, 1x40 sec.

    TOTALS:
    Time: 70 minutes
Calories burned: 212 (per Heart Rate Monitor)

Absolutely stunning, and awesome motivation! I always thought cardio was the only way to go when it came to losing weight, then I started lifting. I still do cardio, but lifting is where it really works for me. Thanks for sharing your success!
