I'm still losing at a nice rate, but am saving this for possible future needs. Thanks Dan, I don't care if it's old or not.

Not to start an argument here, but here is my two cents. 82 pounds later.
Weight loss, as with everything in life, is about math. I followed the MFP guidelines to perfection. Properly weighing and measuring everything that goes into my body.
Worked out from day 1. I won't go into details, but when I started, I was lucky to do ten minutes on the tread mill. Now I do all sorts of weight training and what not.

If you guys were able to see my progress chart of weight loss from the start in January, you would see a steady loss of 2 pounds per week. The occasional zero, 1 or 3.

So, for me, it is all about the MATH. You could keep all the other mumbo jumbo.

Edit: I have officially reached my goal weight as of this morning with a 2.2 pound weight loss. I am 168 pounds.
