Emetophobia---I am afraid of throwing up

    ^ THIS TOO!
This too Yep... I have panic attacks when I get nauseous.
  • I'm pretty good with most fears.
I've conquered a lot of them.
I use to be be deathly afraid of clowns and ventriloquist dummies.
I'm not even kidding, it was ridiculous.
Then one day I bought the scariest looking clown doll I could find and I hung it up in the middle of my room.
I made myself face it everyday.
It's actually still hanging in my room, just on the wall now.
Though I'm still scared of ventriloquist dummies, it's not as bad.
    I just don't like them.

Oh but I do have this fear of being burned alive and drowning.
Though I'm not afraid of heights, I am afraid of falling.

Popping a champagne cork. Seriously. I love snakes, spiders are ok as long as they aren't on me or in my room (in which case I calmly kill them), was never scared of the dark or storms or anything. The damn champagne cork gets me every time..... Even popping the refrigerator can of biscuits is awful..:ohwell:

I have a fear of being required to keep my desk super tidy...what's that one?

    I prefer chaos (totally serious).

    Same here!

I also have a fear of bugs that move faster than I can squash them. And I have a fear of suddenly losing control of my vehicle and crashing over the side of a steep hill, but only when I drive past steep hills. Is that irrational?

Tsunami...The Seattle area is supposed to be rocked by a huge earthquake in the near future when the off-shore Cascadia fault slips. When it does, there will likely be a massive tsunami striking our coast with only 5 minutes warning. I think about it whenever I visit the ocean.

    Claustrophobia is a big one
The feeling of being trapped (in places and situations)
Agoraphobia. I've had dreams where I float weightless out of my house and into the sky, lost forever, since I was a little kid. This is in contrast to dreams where I fly and am lucid and in control.

    Spiders!

    <---zombies
  • Spiders. But I heard it is bad luck to actually kill them so I capture them by trapping them under a paper cup, sliding a piece of paper underneath and them setting them free. Yes, I'm having an anxiety attack the entire time doing this, but if I kill them, their entire spider family will find out and then come kill me in my sleep. I set free a spider one time that was so big it had a face and actually winked at me before it scampered away. Ugh. I'm also pretty creeped out by dolls and clowns.
