Started 30 Day Shred today! Who's with me?!

I want to do the 30 day shred, but on Tuesdays and Thursdays i go to my gym, they offer a 1 hour book camp class. will it be too much if i do the boot camp and the 30day shred?
I give myself a day off once a week. (Generally Wednesday/Thursday, because if I do a weekend or a Monday day off, i find it hard to start again lol) I would do the boot camp Tuesdays and Thursday, and do the 30DS on the other days, also while taking an additional day off (so 2 days boot camp, 4 days 30DS) You need to give yourself a day off so your muscles will recover, otherwise all you're doing is damaging your muscles without letting them repair - which is what causes muscle growth.0 -
I'd love to join you all. I did level 1 day 4 yesterday and plan on doing day 5 today. So far it has been pretty good. I really need to work on those pushups! I need to get past doing the modified ones. I'm looking forward to reading how everyone is doing with it!0

Ugh - can only do the modified pushups. Also the squat + weights right out in front of you KILLS me. Seriously. Longest 20 minutes of my life.0

Go for it, you have nothing to lose (but weight and inches)! Start with light weights and do the modified versions if you need to.0

Going to do my day 7 of level one tonight. I haven't been doing it every day, since I started on October 7th, but I am going to!
That was all due to my forgetfulness and my recently sprained ankle. No, not from the program, but from a trip to Disney World earlier this month. It hurt and hurt and I couldn't figure out why until I compared my ankles. One looked like a regular ankle and one looked like it had a pool noodle stuffed in it. I pushed through and the ankle is doing waay better (it probably got stronger haha).
I haven't made it very far but I enjoy it! Especially the part where the whole thing becomes easier and easier. Annnny way... good to see you all and have a support group for those not so motivated days!0 -
Just started mine today too, feel free to add me I have no plan on how often i'll take breaks as because i'm aware I need to do 10 days it'll probably freak me out to break the routine! i'll probably just cave on the day i'm most exhausted from work or studying0

2 days of level 1 and my thighs are SORE. Never realised how unfit/unstretched my leg muscles were, thought they would be ok from all the jogging i do booo0

Ugh, day 3 today. Running a 5k after moving furniture all day... and still gonna have my "In Yo Face, Jillian" time tonight when the kiddos go to bed. Whoop!0

Just did day 3 & I think those lateral lunge shoulder raise things (which I HATE!) felt a bit easier. Progress! There are some great threads in the forums with 30 Day Shred success stories which are really motivating... if you stick with it, it looks worth it!0

Just finished up day 8 of level 1. 2 more days until the next level...nervous! I saw parts of level two, and i will most likely die lol0

Hope everyone is doing well! I woke up early this morning to do Level 1 Day 6 before work.
I think I kicked myself in the butt during the butt kicks too hard..ouch!
I did 4 days straight & took a rest day. Looking forward to hearing about the progress everybody is making!0 -
Finished up day 5 level 1 tonight, I'm going to try to get up early and do it before work from now on..I find myself way too exhausted at night to put 100% into it!
I've been going to a spa for the past few days and sitting in the sauna then doing the Hydration station (steam bath), and working out after that is not fun since I'm so relaxed! Definitely helps with the sore muscles though!

Actually ended up doing day 3 today. Going to alternate Jill with 5k. Tomorrow is another 5k, time to beat:
Short term goal: beat 36 min
Longer term goal: beat 29 min
Dream goal: beat 23 minutes
At the end of 30DS, 5K combo - going to do LIFT HEAVY training 3 days a week. Going to also bump my cals up to 1600. Fun! I felt stronger tonight - but still have to really do some positive self talk to get through it strong. Good luck, peeps0 -
Did Day 1 of 30DS today. I feel it already. I am hoping to stick with a full 30 days. I am planning on doing some light exercising tonight, and my 30 minutes of walking today, so I will see if this gets me some more weight loss.0

Starting level 2 tomorrow, I have done 11 days (5 a week) of level 1 and just finally started to feel like it was too easy. I can't get as deep as Natalie but I am far better than the begginer moves on everything but push ups. Man the push ups kill me. I can't wait for a change in workouts, pretty sure Jillian is going to kick my butt! She is apparently making money these days, look at all of us buying her videos! So glad that is appears like we are all really getting results from the hard work! She may be annoying but it all seems worth it after reading how much it is helping everyone!
Hoping to do Ripped in 30 next and then be able to kick Natalies butt for 30DS next round!0 -
help me stay on track! took a rest day yesterday after a day of rollerblading in the skatepark (2hours) and level one. went to start level one today and felt sick and like I was going to vom/pass out! I blame it on my poor eating habits today (that and its the fist day of the week from hell (always the worst day. its like you get hit by a semi truck for a day as you adjust to becoming the elevators in the Shining )) hoping to do better tomorrow. there is no option to do poorly.0
