Down 40lbs: from a size 12/14 to a size 6 (with pictures)

I've reached my initial goal weight today of getting down to 135lbs! When I started this journey 8 months ago, I never would have been able to guess I'd make it to where I am today. I was 175lbs, overweight, depressed, no energy and generally very unhealthy emotionally and physically. Fast forward to today and I'm always smiling, full of energy and I barely even recognize the person I was less than a year ago. This hasn't been a "diet" for me because diet suggests it's temporary. I've changed my whole lifestyle and attitude in regards to food and exercise and that's how I know I'll be able to keep the weight off. For anyone (like me) who doesn't like the gym, I lost 40lbs without ever stepping into one, so it can be done
I lost 25lbs prior to finding myfitnesspal in August:
From the end of August, to the end of September I did Jilian Michael's 30 Day Shred:
& Today, after reaching my goal weight:
At this point, my new goal is to lose another 10lbs of fat and gain 5lbs of muscle just to tighten some areas.

thank you! I do Jilian Michael's 30 Day Shred video most days (but I add 5lb weights to all of the cardio moves) and I walk as much as I can. I'll do 30 minutes on my elliptical machine every once in awhile but not often enough to say it's part of my regular routine.0 -

oh god no haha I only do one level at a time. I've done the entire video a couple of times (only after a few cocktails for encouragement lol) but one level at a time seems to be sufficient.0 -
