Cathy --- You got that right ..... Heres to a new six weeks.... to learn from any mistakes we made last challenge... and work hard to correct them in this one.... I need to get back in the control of eating too ..... Ive got working out down ...... im trying to slowly figure out a schedule that works for my son..... we can do it !!!!!

Okay, so I'm going with my weigh in this morning. Still working out the hormones from the birth control pills, which is why I set my goal a little higher because I think in the next two weeks, I should probably shed some serious pounds off the scale once these wicked things are out of my system. Then I'll be rockin' down to be able to fit into this cute little black number I've got for my anniversary April 20th (if the weather warms up). I do have to say though, bye bye boobs without the pills. But the thighs, gut, and butt stayed. Sometimes life just isn't fair.

I'm up almost 10 lbs in the last six week.
I'm binging again. At least I'm not purging. That is the silver lining of my dark cloud.
Trying to figure out what is going on with me.
Not sure if I'm able to be "active" on this challenge.

So...I've been SO absent ladies! Haven't been logging my food, haven't been exercising...had NO motivation! And I don't know why?! I've now gained 1.5 pounds and feel MISERABLE! Usually I'm so good at motivating myself AND others, and now I don't even have the littlest to scrape up for myself! WHAT IS GOING ON??!!! VERY frustrating! But...I'm going to get back on the wagon today! Going to log EVERYTHING! Going to get in some exercise! Going to be positive! I CAN do this!!!
On a positive note...Kadence is doing WONDERFULLY! She has completely recovered from what seemed like her endless cold and is now sleeping through the night again! She is getting so fun too, playing with her toys and interacting better with people! I can't believe she is going to be six months old this Friday! She absolutely LOVES that jumparoo we got her off Craigs list and will look at it in the room and start smiling and making cooing noises at it until we put her in it! HILARIOUS! AND...last night I had her on her tummy and she was SERIOUSLY trying to crawl! She didn't get it figured out, but she was picking her upper body off the floor and the would but it back down and kick up her legs...it was so funny to watch...and she worked at it for a good 10 minutes before giving up and screaming! My little wiggle worm is getting SO big!!
Maybe my lack of exercise/nutrition focus has been due to being more focused on my little one! Which I can't feel too guilty about, but I know that in order for me to be the best mom I can be, I need to take care of myself as well! So...I'm going to make this challenge a good one!!!0 -

Well, I'm going to give this a try again. I sure hope that I can figure out either a routine that will make some progress, or talk to my doctor and see if something else is going on. This is just ridiculous. For a few months things have been just brutal and I gained a ton of weight back, but I'm just not getting any results now that I'm working on it again. I may try working on my sleep to see if that makes any difference. I am determined to get moving in the right direction again and seeing some real progress. It's a nightmare to live in this body again!

Amyls, seeing a loss when you've had a vacation is pretty darned good. And so is taking the steps slowly. Get a handle on one thing then move on. That's just right!!
Kristin, I also can't believe that K is almost 6 months old!! Where on earth has the time gone?! I hope that you find the magic motivation again soon. That's such a hard thing to lose. Keep looking for it though, and try to remember how quickly things can go the wrong way. (BELIEVE me!! :frown:)

Well everyone, it's always motivating to start a new challenge. I hope this one turns out better than the last one did for me!!0 -
pedal....bins didn't produce much this trip. got a couple tops. started feeling bad, so went home and rested the day away. just felt sick. today is better. i went through the same thing since sept. no matter what i ate, or exercised (burning up to 1200 calories a day) the weight just kept coming on. i don't know why. doctor couldn't figure out why. he had me try it his way for a month to lose 3#s. i stayed the same. i quit working out so hard, just my 2 days with trainer for 30mins. eating has been so so, and i am feeling better, the scale stopped moving up, when i eat well, it goes down. don't know why. i am just going with the flow now and not worrying about it any more. too much stressing. bodies are mysterious things aren't they?
well, trainer was a pick it your self work out. i did squats, jumping pull ups, knee to elbow pull ups, squats w/weights, sit ups, push ups. see how i am feeling in the morning.

Well I am off to a great start!! This is the first time in a long time I have started a challenge and have felt this good about myself. I really believe I will make it through with flying colors. I already had my winter cold and so now it's almost spring and my work will be picking up. And with the sun, soon to show its face, we all should be on the move. So let's go girls!!!!! P.S. Get ready for the daily shred report again. I plan on walking at least 3 times a week too. I don't worry about my water in take cuz I always drink at the very least 3 liters a day. I always have loved my water. I just need to watch my food intake and adult beverages.LOL0 -

I'm ready for this new challenge. I've definitely improved the amount of water I drink over this past challenge. I'm down 0.2 from the start of the last challenge (probably would be a little more, but this week is TOM). I'm working almost every day so my breakfast through afternoon snack are easy to keep in control since I pack everything and bring it with me, but dinner is something I need to work on this challenge. I've gotten better the past week at logging most of it, and sometimes all of it. I need to make an effort to plan my day or week of food before I eat it, and then it's so much easier to stick to it. Being without a plan is no benefit to me.
I'm continuing to stay positive for Lent, and I'm noticing that I do feel a lot better. It's still not back to being natural, and I do have to turn my thoughts around still when I'm dwelling on the negative, but I'm certainly not spending all day just being down about everything.
I hope everyone is having a great day. It's snowing here, but I'm trying to appreciate the beauty of it, and appreciate that it doesn't seem to be sticking to the road instead of focusing on the fact that I am SICK OF WINTER.

So...I've been SO absent ladies! Haven't been logging my food, haven't been exercising...had NO motivation! And I don't know why?! I've now gained 1.5 pounds and feel MISERABLE! Usually I'm so good at motivating myself AND others, and now I don't even have the littlest to scrape up for myself! WHAT IS GOING ON??!!! VERY frustrating! But...I'm going to get back on the wagon today! Going to log EVERYTHING! Going to get in some exercise! Going to be positive! I CAN do this!!!

Well, I gained from last week, but I am about to get TOM, so I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. I didn't get to finish my walking yesterday or do my DVD. I was helping DH move an old and extremely heavy non working TV in the garage so he could get the truck in to fix the breaks. My side slid out of my hands and hit right above my kneecap. I've got a nice tender bruise and lump there now. DH said I should ice it & not worry about the rest of my exercise. Hoping to get all my exercise in today. I did log everything I ate yesterday and was over by just under 1000 cals. I didn't think that was too bad considering I wasn't worrying about watching the cals as much.

Hello everyone... just checking in. I think I posted on the Feb site but here we are again. LOL Up one lb. Boo Hoo, but I did deserve it. I go out on the weekends and viola! I did go to this awesome pizza place. I don't have many weaknesses but my favorite pizza is Large. FOGL!!! I did watch what I ate and drank.
I feel the same Kistin and Emmie... What is with February? It snowed, rained, and I think the sun came out like 2 days! Bummer! Well I am off to a play tonite! Fun....

Good morning lovely ladies. Why am I so cheerful even though I woke up an hour late for work? Well, yesterday morning I weighed in at 146. But after two straight days of eating healthy and getting exercise in, the daggone water weight of those birth control pills I think is finally coming off. Throughout the day, as my rings kept sliding around I stepped on the scale and it went down to 143, then 142 (has never gone DOWN at the end of the day). This morning, 141!!! I'm sticking with my weight for the startup at 146 as I know it could fluctuate, but definitely gives me incentive to keep going strong. Usually by the third day of eating right I start making excuses for my cheats. But I am resolved this time and have the little back dress on my closet door to remind me.
Lauryn - Don't get too frustrated. Those stupid scales get us every time. I'm glad you are still around. Take it one day at a time...sometimes hour by hour when necessary. Just remember that one bad meal does not have to ruin all your day. Make the next one count. Even if it is every other one for a few days is still moving forward. You can do it!
Kristin - You sound like I was last week. But it's a new week, and now with your wonderful opportunity of sleeping through the night with Kadence, you're definitely back in the game.
Cathy - Sorry about the snow. It's funny. I remember when you were excited because you hadn't seen snow in so many years. Now, the forecast of snow here only meets groans and exasperation. We'll think SPRING together and hopefully it will work.
Amy (pdx) - It is so hard to go back to work after having the privilege of being a stay-at-home mom. But you can do it. Your kids were very fortunate to get their formidable years with you, and you've been a good basis. (hugs)
Rhiannon - You are a SUCCESS! Your pictures prove it. You can do this. Your fat cells already know what they are in for so they are fighting a little harder this time. But you will conquer.

Whoo hoo!!!!! I did it!!!! I made my goals yesterday. Well, OK, I was a little short on the walking (1.8 miles instead of 2) and short on my water (8 cups instead of 9), but I did my exercise dvd warm up, circuit 1 and started circuit 3. Circuit 2 is just way too hard right now, so I passed it for the moment. I didn't get through even half of circuit 3, but I'm so proud of myself for getting through the part I did. It was intense!! I also logged everything I ate yesterday. I was only over by just under 500 cals!! I'm not really "watching" what I eat right now as I continue to get my energy level back up, but I started logging to get myself back into the habit.
Lula - That's great about the weight loss!! Those birth control pills can do some horrible things to some of us! I'm one of them too.
Verda - I'm glad you're getting your thyroid regulated. It is amazing how much the thyroid regulates in our bodies!0
