Frozen mixed berries or bananas(any frozen fruit will work, it keeps you from having to use ice)
    plain greek yogurt
    vanilla almond milk
    spinach

and if I have extra points a little bit of healthy peanut butter :) Yum!

My favorite and the only one I use is:

    1 cup of frozen strawberries
    1/2 cup of water
1 tablespoon of Skippy Natural Low Sodium & Sugar Peanut Butter
    1/2 scoop vanilla whey protein
    1 pkg of equal

It tastes so good to me. I may add more peanut butter from time to time depending on my activity level for the day.

Just tried a butterfinger one this morning. I use
    1 scoop choc whey powder
    1 cup unsweetened almond milk
    2T peanut butter
2T sugar free instant butterscotch pudding mix
    1 cup crushed ice
This was awesome and I just ordered some PB2 so I can cut the cals even more.

    My current fave is:
1/3 of a fresh pineapple (1/2 pineapple is better, but pineapple is just so dang expensive!)
4 or 5 (or 6) handfulls of baby spinach
    1/4 inch fresh ginger
    1 whole lemon, peeled

in the blender with 3-4 icecubes.
It's thick and pulpy, but so so tasty!

    single serving container yogurt (frozen)
    1/2 banana
    5 frozen strawberries
3/4 cup Silk fruit & Protein
    Spinach

It's just under 400 cal but you can drop it to 300 by using carb smart yogurt. I don't like the texture with carb smart. I also don't like to use ice so I freeze my yogurt and buy frozen berries in bulk.

I've gotta try the pumpkin smoothie that was posted. Yum!!

    I do two...

A Scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder
1 Cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk
    1 Banana
    Ice Cubes
    Splenda
    Cinnamon

    Or

Half scoop of Chocolate Protein Powder
1 Cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk
    1 Tbsp of PB2
    Splenda
    Ice Cubes

I have a recipe to use Vanilla Protein Powder, blueberries and milk that I'm going to try one of these days. And I have also used Strawberries instead of a banana in the first one as well.
  • I don't have any ideas myself, but I'm definitely nabbing some of these.

    1 cup low-fat buttermilk
2 ripe bananas, cut into 2-inch-thick rounds
    11 dried pitted dates
    1 teaspoon honey

My FAVORITE smoothie is from Cynthia Sass's Cinch! book: Chocolate Pear Ginger Smoothie.

    1 small pear, sliced
    1/4 cup rolled oats
    8 oz skim milk
1/4 cup chocolate chips (I use dark chocolate chips, and melt them in the microwave)
    1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

Place the pear, oats, milk, chocolate chips, and ginger in a blender. Blend until smooth.
