    Bump

I've been doing a shake every morning lately. 1 cup vanilla coconut milk, 1 scoop protein powder, and a cup of frozen berries blended together. It's pretty good, but I'm ready for a snack a couple hours later.

What my family calls Eggy Toast (eggs in a basket) where you cut the center out of a piece of bread and fry an egg in the middle. If you can't picture it just google "eggs in a baskest." I love it because it actually it pretty filling and I cook it til the yokes not runny so I can eat it in the car if need be. :O)

For me, I go primarily with fruit. It perks me right up.

If i'm feeling particularly rubbish on a morning... I eat 2 kiwi fruits. High in serotonin.

Also, if i'm feeling wired at night - same thing. 2 kiwi fruits and a protein shake. Protein helps me feel satisfied, and the serotonin from the kiwi fruit sends me right off into an awesome sleep.

I always just have a protein shake. I'm in too much of a hurry for anything else and they taste great and provide good nutrition!

Quinoa and greek yogurt. Its a powerful start to the day. Opt for fat free yogurt and you will still get all that protein but with less fat. If I dont have this every day I tend to slip up more often than not.

Cornflakes for me no matter what time I get up, but that's hardly my diet plan! I love cornflakes had them for brekie (and sometimes dinner, tea and supper as well!) since before I can remember.

I have smoothies. They are easy to prepare and I drink them while I get ready for work.

    Banana "pancakes"

    Smash 1 ripe banana thoroughly.
    Beat 2 whole eggs.
    Mix eggs and banana together.
Cook on a hot griddle like a pancake.

I like it topped with warm blueberries/and or strawberries.

Nummy. Can't even taste the eggs.

    YUM!

1 cup eggwhites (generic "eggbeaters" from costco) 90 cals
    AND EITHER:
2 oz turkey smoked sausage 90 cals
    OR
2 slices fried ham (costco extra lean) 40 cals
    OR
2 Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage Links (90 cals)
    OR
2 slices turkey bacon (60 cals)

    and sometimes:
sauteed mushrooms and/or onions ("sauteed" is an exaggeration - cooked in minimal oil, or "pam") 24 cals

Use garlic, worcestershire, soy, ponzu sauces to taste.

All of the above cooked in "pam" 10 cals.

Coffee, with Non fat creamer 10 cals

180-240 cals of high protein low fat, belly filling deliciousness - never hungry during the day times, frequently skip lunch and instead have a "zone bar" or something like that. Have a nice healthy dinner though.

    Awesome Ideas!! I love it!

For me it's usually either 2 Eggs with whole grain toast and coffee OR nonfat greek yogurt with fruit and I got those Emerald brand 'Breakfast-On-The-Go' Blueberry Oatmeal clusters. They're SO tasty - blueberry oatmeal clusters, almonds, yogurt covered blueberries, and blueberry flavored crasins all mixed in a nifty pouch. I'll have that with my coffee then the yogurt an hour or so later. I save Eggs and toast for the weekends and maybe once during the week. And coffee, always coffee.
