November Goals: 400,000 steps for the month. Minimum of 10,000 steps per day.

I'm in for November...I'm training for a 3-day 50 mile walk in March and need to start doing longer walks. My goal for this month is 250,000 miles...hope I can make it!!!0

November first might not be the best... I usually take public transportation to work [lots of walking], but this morning I got a ride to work and had so little steps. I am sitting at only 1550 steps right now!0

I'm in too please. I regularly wear a pedometer but haven't been so good at doing my 10,000 a day lately. This will definitely be incentive.

I am new to this (posting and all) but will give it a try. I have a fitbit that went on the blink but I think it is working now. I will begin the challenge tomorrow.:ohwell:0

I'm trying to get back to working on my fitness. I've had problems with plantar fasciitis in my left heel and it's starting to feel better. I don't think I can do 10,000 right away, but I'm going to do the best I can. And I've ordered a fitbit. It's on back order but I should get it by next week. anyway, I'll do my best.0

if you have an iphone or ipod touch, there is an app called striiv that connects with MFP, I got the app yesterday and went for a walk with my mum and her dog. we were out for 90 mins and did 9688 steps, I was soo pleased with myself :-)
not quite the 10k steps but close enough. apparently that burned off over 600 cals.
On that app is also a game where you need energy to do things, and the only way to get more energy for the game is by walking
