What has been / is your biggest food pitfall and how do you avoid it?

For me it is office food (cookies, doughnuts, granola bars, candies, and all other free food). This week I have not eaten any at all, thanks to MFT calorie tracker, and feel a big difference in how my jeans fit.

Hot Tomales candy. Like the box I'm working on as I type this!

So far I haven't figured out how to avoid them. Probably won't try. Gotta treat myself every now & then!

Bread and chocolate. If they didn't exist, I don't think I'd need MFP !!!

Crisps - especially Tayto, I could eat 12 bags in one sitting! They are my achilles heel, so much so, that I have cut them out from my lifestyle altogether, haven't had a single crisp in nearly 5 months.....and don't miss them one bit

Grocery shopping. I feel like I have to taste everything I buy...right after I buy it.
Ex. once bought a bag 175g container of dried figs. Finished it within the next hour.

For me, it is anything with sugar in it. I am good at work but then I get home and that is a struggle. I have 3 kids so we usually have some kind of sugary treat around. Not much... my daughter has type 1 diabetes so we do keep the sugar to a minimum in our household but the Halloween candy!!!

^this...and junk food in general. Now, actually, it's just candy, chips, cookies, and peanut butter by the spoonfuls!
