Pasta!!!!!
I replaced it with spaghetti squash.0 -
definitely pizza... I don't avoid it though, I still usually have pizza once a week. A lot of times I'll make my own mini pizza though (this summer I got hooked on grilling my own pizza) or just pick a healthier option if I get it from somewhere0

Crisps - especially Tayto, I could eat 12 bags in one sitting! They are my achilles heel, so much so, that I have cut them out from my lifestyle altogether, haven't had a single crisp in nearly 5 months.....and don't miss them one bit0

Pasta; however, it's not going anywhere, so I have to learn to work around it. Last night we went to Olive Garden and I had already logged what I was going to eat, which was their new Lasagna Primavera. The table behind us both had spaghetti and meatballs and I instantly was craving it. I did not change my order (after checking the calorie counts), but I decided I'm going to make spaghetti for dinner this weekend using my Smart Taste spaghetti and 93% lean ground beef, which comes in at nearly 1/3rd the calories of OG's version.0

For me it's French bread!
In some cases, overindulging occurs when we deprive ourselves of foods we enjoy. The best way to avoid going all out is to plan it from before and allow ourselves to eat a certain amount of it while fitting it into your calories and macros. I think the most important thing is to believe in yourself though, you can do it, the key is will power. Good luck!0 -
SWEETS! Every tooth in my mouth is a sweet tooth! That has been the hardest part, food wise, to stay on track. I have been slipping a little lately, but I am ready to cut it out and get back to it! I have worked too hard to let it all go to waste! My favorite quote? "Nothing tastes as good as how I feel!!!"0

Chocolate and baked goods...ohh man and lattes!0

Pasta. If one bite enters my pie hole, I'm done for - every last scrap, from my plate, from others' plates, from the serving bowl, gets eaten.
Before July when I started using MFP, I had stocked up on it, because it was a cheap household staple. Sometime in September, I made some for my fiance - and after weeks of not eating it, I was overwhelmed by the desire to consume it ALL. I managed to eat only a few bites, logged them, and got out of the kitchen before I could do any more damage.
The problem is, when I eat pasta, not only do I have no self control, but invariably end up with either a yeast or a BV infection. Clearly, my 'bad' gut bacteria really like the unfettered access to sugar. I've experimented with replacing pasta with another carb, and discovered that rice is a safer (both on the portion control and possibility of infection points), and quinoa has been the best option so far. Even then, I eat those two things very seldom these days.
There are two boxes of uncooked pasta still in the pantry, but I refuse to make them. I've told the fiance, you can cook them when I'm not here, or they can go to Second Harvest.0 -

We have cookies in the house for the kids... and it's hard not to eat the leftover macaroni and cheese and hot dogs after we feed them. It's really just MFP that keeps me on the straight and narrow. I always log my food in the morning or the night before so that way I'll know how eating extra with affect my macros and it makes it easier to say no.0

BAKED GOODS. And no one ever buys me one doughnut. They buy me six doughnuts.0
-
Fresh baked warm melty chocolate chip cookies... I bought one of those Nestle Tollhouse cookie dough tubs for the kids. BAD IDEA!
I guess any chocolate chip cookie will do. I visited a friend with lung cancer yesterday and she gave me a 12 pack of Panera mini chocolate chip cookies for the kids. While I was driving home they were just looking at me, so I had to have one and then I put the them in the back seat. That cookie of course made me go over my calorie limit.0 -
anything Rice! Love rice too much to give up. I sabotaged all my Low Carb dieting with just the smell of cooked rice. What can I say, I am asian and a rice lover0
-
Blueberry glazed donuts. Actually, I could make a seven foot long list. Bread, cheese, meat, sweets. I go crazy for that stuff.0
-
CHOCOLATES!!! and baked goods0

Oreos and chocolate chip cookies. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but with those, if I have them in the house, they will be gone in 2-3 days. I only buy them once every couple months...though when my bf's family buys them for me, I can't avoid them (and I don't want him eating them all either).0

THAT'S ME TOO!!!!!!!!! It is so hard!! But I have been slowly working on moderation.0 -
My downfall is carbs....love em especially spuds especially jacket spuds0
-
Potato chips.
I used to eat a large size bag of potato chips in one sitting, usually 3/4 times a week. I haven't had any in the past 5 weeks, and thankfully am not craving them. I won't even buy them anymore because I don't think I'm capable of eating one serving of Doritos.
And if you tell me to eat "baked" chips, I will stab you in the eye.0 -
Bagels with TONS of cream cheese, Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies, Chinese food with crab ragoon please. O.M.G. I'm really hungry now.0
-
Lean beef. Since muscle weighs more than fat, eating all this hamburger has been making me pack on the pounds. I need to get my diet in check and stop soon before it gets excessive.0
-
If it is crunchy and salty, I had better measure out a serving and put the rest away!!0
-
candy corn and milk.0
-
Ice cream. Cereal(cinnamon).
It's a problem.0 -
dunkin' donuts iced coffees and coolatas...
I didn't know, but recently found out, that you could specify that you want these made w/ skim milk. Saves a lot of calories, which is good because I love the coffee coolatas!!0 -
Pringles!!!
But my saviour in losing weight was baked beans with mushrooms and grated cheese.
Now I am in maintenance I have pringles in moderation :-)0
