    So all that being said, where does one FIND these sizes in middle America? I've certainly never seen them in Penney's, Sears, Kohl's, etc., and can't afford $50 underwear from some online specialty shop.

    For the less expensive alternatives, try Playtex. They have more sizes and fairly good support - try a molded cup style. You can buy them online for less at onehanesplace.com for signtificant savings.

    Thank you for the suggestion - I will see if I can find any. I've just truthfully NEVER seen a 32DD which is what the OP's calculator said I would be. You can't return bras, though, can you? Another reason I'm leery of spending lots of cash.

    O.k., I stand corrected. Once I was able to find a bra online in the size this says I should wear, I ordered one.

    It fit.

    My hubby will NEVER believe I am a double D. LOL

    According to this I'm a 36E. Um...what? There's no way they can be that big. I've been wearing 40Cs (even a bra fitter told me this was my size) all my life. Some fit better than others but I don't think I found the perfect bra yet. There are no Nordstroms in the state of PA according to their website. I don't wanna order a 36E only to have to send it back.

    The calculator posted by the OP said I was a 38DD. I little more feasible but still...I don't know if that's true either. I'm so confuuuuused. >.<
    Bra sizes are so misleading. The cups of a 36E actually aren't any bigger than the cups of a 40C. The cup sizes don't represent an absolute volume of breast tissue, but rather the difference between your circumference at the ribcage and circumference at the middle of the breast.

    I am very curious to try something from The Little Bra Company because based on the calculator my current size is way off... but I'm also hesitant to pay shipping for something that I don't know if will fit.

    After having babies and gaining weight, I struggled to find bras that fit. Before my pregnancies, I had been a 34B my entire adult life (had my first baby at 29). Afterwards, I hated bra shopping with a passion. I tried online size calculators, and invariably was told I was a 40A! That didn't fit at all! So, instead I would go to the department store and try on 10 different bras in varying cup and band sizes. Through that trial and error, I began wearing a 38D. Pretty big difference between 40A and 38D, don't you think? Well, I've lost weight of course, and had gone down to a 38C. I recently bought a 36C because my boobs were swimming in the 38C. In the 36C, the band fits perfectly, but the cups are a little small (I've got a little bra cup muffin top, especially in my left side, you ladies know what I'm talking about). This calculator shows I am a 36D. So, I would say it is right on!! Thanks!!

    Oh, I would add that all the previous online calculators I ever used seemed to indicate the measurements should be done without a bra on. But, I think that was a major contributing factor to the misinformation as the girls were seriously deflated after having babies and breast feeding. This calculator shows (the little pictures) a bra on while taking the measurements.

    Thank you!!! I wore the wrong bra size for so many years!!!! I always thought I was a 36 C...I used the calculator, and last weekend went to the store to try the size the calculator gave me, and a 36 C to compare them....OMG, the calculator was right, 34 D feels and looks a lot better!

    not sure about it's sizing... I'm definitely not a D cup, my girls swim in a C cup!

    Actually, that's the point. Most bras are too big in the band and too small in the cup, so the size we buy from common manufacturers isn't the true size and we end up being tricked into thinking we are a smaller cup size than we are. I have large breasts and a small rib cage, so my real cup size is quite shocking, but if I could actually find a bra that size it would probably fit like a dream. Goddess bras come the closest to a proper fit and they make small band sizes with large cups, yay.

    I have *finaly* started to lose some boobage! I was a 42/44 I (DDDDD) when I started this journey and yeah I went down to a DDDD but man I kept saying I would be happy with a DD or a D even! I am sure I don't have to tell you ladies how hard it is to find a *good* high impact sports bra at a decent price! lol
    Well, I am finally down to a 38 DD!! I am super excited! I tried on some nice bras at Cato's the other day that were on clearance...the cup sizes were all over the place! I tried on 38 DD in every bra and all of them fit different. The last one I tried I could have fit two of one of my boobies in that cup! it was swimming in them! hahaha.

    So I just say all that to say Yup! always try it on...they fit so different even within same brand, different styles...just save yourself a return trip and try in on ;)

    I've always said it made no sense to measure the under bust and then add inches for a bra, the cup is just the difference between the 2. So you may well be a bigger cup than you think, YIPPEE, because the stores have you in too big an under bust band.

    PS - My OH is pleased to point out your link is for a Polish site - as he is from there and thinks they know everything! Yeh, ok whatever!

    Bumping because it seems to be pretty accurate!

    The US sizes are scary though (I'm in Europe). I never thought I could be a K cup, but apparently I can!

    I tried it, it said I was a 34H. I've tried on 34s in the store but they're always too small, so I end up with a 36 or 38. If I wear too small a band size my back and underarm fat surround it and look awful. Where do you find an H? I've never seen anything higher than a DDD and even those are hard to find when you drop bellow a 40 band.

    Fredrick of Hollywood carries much more extended sizes. It stinks that so many companies assume that if you have a larger cup size you are automatically thick trunked. I am a 34 or a 32 depending on weight and I can find F or G for those at Fredricks. Some Dillards have them also.

    I got a bra fitting at La Senza at about the -30 pound mark. My bra size through this calculator is the exact same. So... La Senza is awesome!

    I wear 34A and this calculator tells me I am actually 34AA. Much closer than going to VS or La Senza or even pricier lingerie shops who have all told me I am a C cup based on measurements. Nevermind getting me in one and seeing me swim in it... hahaha.
