Made them last night.
Didn't cook properly in 15 minutes, but I think I may have made the cookies a bit too thick. Put them on baking paper but they still stuck. I turned them over at 10 minutes but they needed another 5 and a bit more minutes after the 15.
Tasted good though, and will make again
Does anyone grease the paper or tray to stop them sticking?
Oh should have read this! Exactly this! They cooked for well over 30 mins but still not solid! I greased the paper and they still stuck!
I wonder about the banana? They come in small to really big - so I imagine size matters in this as well.0 -
ooh yum, going to try this tomorrow!0

Sounds good, but yikes the sugar!!!
:noway:0 -
I just made these with frozen bananas, and added nothing. They are just ok, and a little....rubbery. The texture doesn't bother me, tho'. Next time I will add a little stevia and some real vanilla....ooohhh, or maybe coconut extract. Thanks for sharing.0

Sounds wonderful, I shall try that the next time we have old bananas.0

I made a half batch and added a dash of cinnamon and a bit of sugarfree vanilla syrup. They made 12 little cookies which did stick to the parchment a little but I didn't have much trouble emoving them with a thin metal spatula. They turned out tasty! I ate the whole batch hot from the oven without a trace of guilt.0

PS I used a firm yellow banana0

I bet a dash of cinnamon would be fabulous in them and perhaps a small small splash of vanilla extract.0

I'm trying this tomorrow!0

Baking them now! But, sadly, I don't have enough calories left to eat the whole batch!0

Ok, had some turning bananas and instant oatmeal packets.. I mashed them all up, added some cinnamon and a few chopped dates... Divided equally into 6 muffin tins and baked for 20 minutes at 350... Delicious.. ????????????????????????And with my calculations only 72 calories a piece! . Next time i am going to try the actual cookie version.0

^ can't edit my post to add this, they turned out brilliantly! The bananas I used were huuge and I used scottish oats, it made 9 huge cookies. I had one hot from the oven and it tasted like warm gooey banana bread And I just had one now they've cooled, can't get over how good they are!
Does anyone know how long they'll keep? Can't imagine it would be that long as it's banana.0 -
