So, tonight My friend and I (who I haven't hung out with in a while) want to hangout. We wanted to go out to eat but he decided on dessert, like we go out for ice cream. I JUST got back into eating healthy and exercising. Tuesdays are not my fat days. Where should we go/ what should I get? HELP!

You should go out for some dang ice cream, yo.0

Uhh, have some ice cream. Make it small and make it fit your macros.
Why does ice cream = fat?0 -
What about Frozen Yogurt? Lower in fat and calories. Still dessert and still DELISH0

You have to eat some of you favorite foods in order to succeed in weight loss too, just watch your portion size.0

if this is your idea of a crisis...i can't wait till your brakes fail.

I'm confused by this post ...
What are "fat days"?
Why can't you eat ice cream?0 -
Have some ice cream. Just work it into your calories for the day.0
-
frozen yogurt.
stop being a drama queen.0 -
are you lactose intolerant?0

are you lactose intolerant?
Yes, thank you for asking.0 -
See if he'll make do with some whipped cream and handcuffs.
This is brilliant. If my guy asked me to do this, I'd give him an enthusiastic yes, but only if he chokes me too.
WINNING!!!0 -
well first off just eat the damn ice cream and control yourself and only have a little
but if your gonna be paranoid about it go to cherry berry or a different frozen yogurt place0 -
Try exercising some willpower. Unless your friend is force-feeding you said ice-cream, it's within your power to say no if you don't want to eat it.0

Get some Skinny Cow ice cream and eat it at home! or get some frozen yogurt! That would be a great dessert!0

This.... fit it in your caloriesor don't..... or miss out on a friend date which is more important0 -
He doesn't sound like much of a friend. Perhaps he's actually an enemy spy?
(P.S. I was not being serious. I would like you to go have ice cream now, and then don't post about it afterwards with guilt, just smile and enjoy your ice cream).0 -
I think you can safely eat a bit of icecream with your friend and make today an exception. Besides if you do go over your calories you can just workout a bit extra tomorrow to make up for it0

if by great you mean "how the hell can they call this ice cream"
Then yes I agree0 -
are you lactose intolerant?
^This. OP, if you are, don't worry--it'll come out so fast your body won't have time to process the calories.0 -

I second this. If he is a good friend he wont force you to do anything you don't want to.0 -

Exactly what I was thinking!0 -

I was blindly trolling the thread silently, and then I did a double take. Wait what?

I agree, eat the ice cream, fit it in your macros for the day, do some more exercise if you have to. I lost my weight by still having treats.0

If you are really short on calories sorbet is lower cal or yes just have a small icecream and fit it into your week.0

I personally prefer hair pulling, but I like where you're going with this.0 -

lol ditto0 -
Ice cream isn't unhealthy, per se. Eating a half gallon of it to stuff feelings is unhealthy. Go out with your friend and enjoy a cup of ice cream.0

One scoop of ice cream shouldn't throw you off course. BUT - see if you can make a wise choice. Most ice cream places have banana's. Ask for a banana with it. OR get a kid's size scoop.0
